Alas, none of them are there now. Awaiting for someone coming up with such beautifully scripted movies, which a decent family can enjoy sitting all together. But seems a pipe dream. Bimal Roy, Hrishikesh Mukherjee, Basu Chatterjee, Shyam Benegal...they have all gone.
In today's time there are good films, according to me, and good directors too. Films (present time) : A Wednesday Sarkar Sarkar raj Drohkaal Satya Dushman Kahani Shool Kaun Haasil Irfan and tabu's movie (as bengali characters) (I don't remember the name) Monica (ashutosh rana and divya dutta) Rann Hera pheri Maqbool Omkara Dus (specially watch it for pankaj kapur) And many more movies... Also watch South movies. Their script, direction, acting and all technical aspects are superb.
I don't know how many times i watched this movie also other movies of Hrishikesh mukherjee and Gulzar movies. Every time they are new and insist me to see again.
