Unfortunately, Kong simply doesn't have the means to compete with Godzilla unless Legendary upgrades him up the wazoo. For starters, Kong has no long-range attacks, so Godzilla can just zone him out like he did for a while against the Female MUTO. Second, Kong may have been confirmed bigger than Godzilla for the upcoming film but there's no reason to believe he'll be that much physically stronger or faster than Godzilla. Kong is also covered in fur. Fur can catch fire, and if Godzilla's Atomic Breath doesn't do it, the moment he unleashes Burning form again, Kong's quite literally toast.

@@colvertsolos The director for 2020 godzilla vs kong said that there would be other kaijus in the movie mainly the bat kaiju that may be a bigger threat i dont even think Destroyah is alive yet.So im hoping godzilla will win this one and the next movie they might have destroyah in it.
2020 (the real movie) you know a little later in the fight Godzilla could learn Kong's strategies and then Godzilla will start using tools around him, My theorie for the movie
The fight is a bit awkward, they're both moving too slow. My advice is : Try moving them faster, yes I know. It will take alot of time but it's worth it.
I like it but for two things: It seems the scale of each opponent has been reversed, and Goji would not just stand there and take it on the jaw a couple times. Kong would be drawing back a stump if he tried more than one punch in a row. C'mon Kong, body blow combo! That tail whip too; that would've knocked fuzzy wuzzy into the suburbs!
