Amber Galway What year is it??! Digging up old threads is bad and you should feel bad. To answer your question ofc I realized he wasn’t having a seizure after 1000 people pointed out it was a failed edit.

Holy crap, a video game review, the reason I subscribed to Ashens. Then i got lost in a rabbit hole of cross eyed "action figures" and hamburgers in a can. But please never stop reviewing random crap.
Yes obviously I'm aware that they're not exactly the same thing. They are both, however, proprietary Microsoft technologies that has nothing to do with the Playstation controllers or the Linux-running C64 mini. You're mixing up software APIs for a specific OS with hardware, which doesn't care about these APIs. You can use Xbox controllers on Linux with absolutely no Xinput in sight.
I was born in the 90s, and I remember when I was around 10, my dad had a laptop with Windows 95 and a few games on it. The one game I remember playing the hell out of on it was Chip's Challenge. Hearing Ashens sing the game's praises makes me feel all fuzzy and nostalgic.

But then re-buttoned it and forgot all about it.

I had the original Commodore 64 in 1984 and only used it to play Raid Over Moscow, and that awesome baseball game where you can make the 1927 Yankees play against the 1969 Mets or whichever team won the World Series for various years. It provided stats that could be printed out on the Commodore printer after the game. Those were two enjoyable games that I haven't been able to play for 35 years. I NEED to find them!

Yeah, none of my favorites. This is like that crappy Nintendo mini where the games chosen were mostly crap and not what we wanted. And while at it a micro usb charger modelled after the C=64 powerbrick. And maybe even a detailed bottomplate? Or is that too much to ask for 80 somewhat bucks? As is: MEH.

A bit of gameplay footage or even screenshots would have made that much more enjoyable. If going over all of them that way would be too much (which it probably would be) maybe just talk about some of the best and worst in your opinion instead of going over every one?
