The puzzles in this series got me and im sure others at one point or another. Watching you do the puzzles definitely brought back memories of the struggles I had trying the puzzles too lol. Enjoying the playthroughs, excited to see future videos!

I have never played the game but I have seen so many playthroughs its like I've played it and I want to give you some tips:
-I know its easier said than done but try to use more your runic attacks and then focus on some combos that you unlcok. Runic attacks will be your close friends in the journey(At the moment you have two, one light and one heavy but you will collect a lot more).
-Dont worry for some things you missed. Most of the areas you have been you will visit them again and if not through the main story you can definetely do it on your own.
-Also there are things that right now you can do nothing, like some things in the witch's cave(some blue crystals and some red thing), but as the story progresses you will unlock new skills weapons etc.
-Also try to use Atreus arrows.
-ALSOOO dont igonre any dialogues with the dwarves(the triangle button). They are important and interesting especially Brok's with his special tone:)
I dont want to get boring or rude so I will stop and I can advise you later if you will be needing that(I doubt it;)
Fun Fact:
There is a theory that when the World Serpent spoke at 1:01:52 it said something like:"I know you Ghost of Sparta. Find Mimir. He wiil help". If you focus enough you can hear it or at least some of the words. Its not a spoiler or something. It will make sense later in the story.

Do you aim to play the entire game blind or would you be interested in watching the summary video for the previous games?
im trying to decide, i dont want to undermine the games by just reacting to the cut scenes but i think it would be helpful to understanding kratos' story
@@krissyonYT There are a ton of references to Kratos' past and the previous games in this and Ragnarök. A lot of his motives will be hard to understand without knowing. you can totally get through the whole game without knowing but the callbacks will leave you with only more unanswered questions.
@@krissyonYT Yeah don't watch a summary of the previous games, I wish people would stop recommending that, people do themselves a disservice by doing that. God of war 2018 does such a good job at conveying everything without having to play the previous games. Watching a summary is not going to give anyone a "nostalgia" experience, it's impossible without of course actually having played the games back in the day.
A summary would just simply ruin more of the current experience instead. The mystery, secrets and the revelations told through the story would be diminished. It's better to either play the games from the start or, yes simply start with God of war 2018. I think it would turn people away from the franchise instead if everyone was gonna start with the old games, it's not for everyone, people are more likely to get into 2018 than the old ones. I say this of course too as someone who did play the old games back in the day when they came out. Can always play the old games later too, because I think many might be more willing to try and play the old games if they played 2018 first.
@@Ronny411how does watching a full detailed summary of the older games ruin the experience, especially since you aren't able to play most of them on the current gen hardware.

Lure enemies near the red pot lighted lamps then smash with the axe throws, they will explode and do more damage to Trolls, Ogres and Helwalkers.
Use the ruinic attack more it’ll help a lot in combate not just throwing the axe

I went into this game blind and it was the best gaming experience I’ve ever had because this game is both made for new fans and veterans.
Veterans know what’s going on and get all the references, while new fans are playing the game through the eyes of Atreus and learning about Kratos and his story together with Atreus

Miss Krissy, I do like you're content and you do have the reflexes of someone who plays games but not the solid gaming knowledge
1. Everything yellow is a target or is something you can interact with
2. Stop using the axe throw when fighting, play with the combos (also use the special moves of the axe ), be brave
3. In this game, you can find secrets everywhere, so just hit stuff and see what happens
4. The axe is frost damage its the strongers against the fire tipe and its useless against ice tipes.
Hands are effective against everything and do the most stun.
The blades are late game itam but thay are fire and are strong against ice and usless against fire
5. Side missions are more important than the story mission( when it comes to items and gear)
6. Do not think I'm hating. I'm saying all of this to help and make your experience better your skills sharper and puzzles and the fights easier

with all due respect i have 4 total hours of gameplay and you probably have much more experience than me in this game so although i might be struggling at times i don’t think it’s something to worry about. these things will come to me as i play the game more 😇
