Don’t ever doubt crews that are different. There’s always at least 1 crew that stands out in every season, and BreakSk8 was definitely that crew in Season 1. And to think the judges choose those Useless Cheerleaders Femme 5 over the Crowd Favorites BreakSk8. Well, we knew better than even the Judges.
I'm going to put my tinfoil hat on for a minute: I suspect that the idea for season 1 was to always have a west coast crew vs. an east coast crew (because let's be honest if the voting was legit it would have ended up being Kabba vs. Jabba in the finals) BUT! I think the *original* plan for the MTV producers was not Status vs. Jabba but Iconic vs. Jabba, and because the judges regularly shat on Status and praised Iconic. However both of them ended up in the bottom two and I think they pivoted to Status. The reason I think this is because they had this challenge that basically fit Iconic to a T and probably would have secured them a spot in the finals
Honestly, what the hell was Break Sk8 supposed to do? This challenge was not suited for them at all and what they were given did them no favors at all. What the hell are a bunch of guys going to do with a song that is performed by all girls? If it had been Fysh N chicks, they wouldve killed it.

break sk8 was a great crew better than what i gave them credit for rewatching these gave me a better outlook on these crews

Although I'm a theater kid and love musicals, I wanna say this was the weakest episode of Season 1, which sucks cause it had a fire opening!
Also, Im a fan of BreakSk8 but they weren't the strongest dancers however they just got screwed with that song choice! XD
