Both are passionate fishermen, I enjoy them both for their enthusiasm and content quality. They have differing narration styles, but I enjoy Matt’s “technical” descriptions of what he’s doing. Johnny’s demeanor is fun as well, just different than Matt’s. For me, I very much enjoy them both.
Cheers Dave! So many styles and I enjoy all the channels out there cos I’m addicted to fishing haha. It’s one aspect I will work on for my future videos, is to do a better job explaining why I am fishing a certain way and when. 😀
Another great video Johnny! Deadest you should be on TV mate. Good hauls, easy watching, entertaining and a few giggles in between. What more would you want!
Thanks for the kind words Chey & Tom! Bathy maps producing the results on finding reds. Just a bit of fun with a good mate! I’m no expert and I’m learning something new every trip. The ocean and the GBR is such an amazing place! 😀
Another great upload Johnny but now I want to drive back to Airlie and head out to the reefs. You are the King of big Reds 👏👏👏. Love the drone footage too
Beautiful Johnny and Brad! Just a perfect day? With a good feed to end it! Did have a laugh though when Johnny said, I’m smashed, well done fellas, usually in Australia when you say your smashed, means something different to not tired, ha ! Ha, 😂
Another great video Johnny, thanks for keeping us folk in NSW entertained. Wish I was there Id be happy to help you finish that cray and trout. Whats on the menu next Episode, looking forward to seeing what you cook up. Garlic butter and chilly Mayo on that cray would be so nice with a dozen oysters and a cold beverage
That's awesome johnny good to see you out doing an overnighter on the reef mate 👍 how good is Brad on the straight hook mate definitely got a good eye 👌
Amazing!! Looks like another epic adventure bro. Love the content. The gear looks great. Looking forward to the next episode and seeing those big blueys!
On your first drift, you found some ground on the sounder but the sounder wasn't marking any fish. Do typically try a drop regardless of whether you mark fish?
Good to see you noticed that. Yes, it’s always worth a drop because you get fish that hug the bottom quite tight and also fish outside of the sounder cone so it’s always worth one or two drifts if you mark structure. 😀
@@kizzjd9578cheers mate! Really means a lot! I still view myself as an amateur with filming etc! Still learning and trying to improve every trip. Tight lines legend and really do appreciate the positive feedback. 😊
Great video love your content but you need to understand something, every time you touch a piece of live coral your killing it, it happens countless times in this video if your going to spear fish you need to educate yourself about this stuff, our coral reefs are already at great threat to bleaching, no need to add extra stress please be more careful in the future.
I hope brad didn’t get sick from eating that trout cooked in the same pan as the rock lobster. Should have done the fish first if someone has shellfish allergies.
Thanks for the opportunity. Here’s to many more adventures to come
Anytime champ! I have no doubt there will be many more! 😀

Much prefer watching you than pelagic pursuit mate, especially with his new style colour grading and video style.
Thanks for supporting my channel mate. I think all the content creators out there are great and a lot of effort goes into making the films. 😀
@@johnnychowjc yea but theres also a point where you can over do it. Your videos make the viewer feel like they are there with you. Keep it up mate!
you got a sharp eye, im with you on that theory far too much fluff like he is the guy inventing the wheel

Nice video mate. The weather this year has definitely been poor so you need to grab every opportunity you can get 👍🏽
I’m friends with Joel
It’s time…
Haha for what??? 🤣

Too easy mate will be more careful in future. Definitely want to protect the reef 🪸

Brad is fit and well. We used two different pans mate and we wash the pans champ. Thanks for your concern for Brad. 👍
