As an English teacher, I definitely think you can teach Em in class as an example of lyricism. I showed students verses from Lose Yourself and pointed out allusions and double entendres. As well, his flows are amazing.
@Tails No, if you read my post during a literature course, we studied the sentence structure, the double and sometimes triple meanings of his lyrics, and about a dozen other lessons. I took the course for the love of learning, I already had my degrees, and at home, my parents taught me manners🤷♀️
Bro Australian subscriber here and for 25 years ive been listning to em and to this day i have never been sick of hearing ppl break down his ability so i very much enjoyed the breakdown take as long as you like we are here for it all cheers to you great job .. Wasnt this one insain lyrics and meaning i felt every word 💯
I don’t know why ppl skip Yela’s verse. He was supposed to rap but when he heard Eminem’s tribute to Proof; he didn’t want anything competing with it so he didn’t rap & we got masterpiece. 🔥❤️🔥Btw Yela’s look is very Southern rock. Fun fact: Eminem produced this song.
It takes a very smart man to understand as much as you did listening to it for the first time. There aren’t enough people who appreciate Em for his mind because the rap today is just Mumbo jumbo crap that means nothing. I felt it so much when he poured his heart in soul into his dedication to Proof. Love this!
5:00 Eminem made busta rewrite his verse on “Calm Down” and he also made Kanye rewrite his verse on “Forever” with the way em writes I wouldn’t doubt there’s more out there (made: as in his verse was so good they felt they needed to rewrite their verses themelves)
This song is amazing, I'm thankful you didn't skip Yela's part. You should react to some Bad meets Evil, Royce and Em really push each other to the limits and they complement each other really well.
That was Kanye that changed his verse on the song "Forever" that was a collab between Lil' Wayne, Kanye, Drake, and Em. He had fell off hard an was M.I.A for 5yrs lost in the pill bottles, an "Forever" was the 1st Track he agreed to lay a verse on since getting his shit together, people say that "Forever" is the best verse wayne and kanye have ever done, and Eminem just fuckn wrecked all their verses.
Yes! Em's talking about his best friend "Proof"✨( R.I.P)✨. I've listened this Yelawof and Eminem's collab, many times. It always gives me goosebumps !!! Creative lyrics, aggressive, powerful rap, passion .. .
In the Bible, your faith is your armor and The Word is your sword. Em is asking for the faith to calm him so he doesn't turn Mohammed Ali with the llama.
This next part is about with Clint Eastwood and joining the priesthood from the movie unforgiven when he was a gunfighter that turned priest and moved to a town and everybody kept pushing and pushing and messed with him and then hurt somebody you loved then went back to a gunfighter and took the whole town.
The song you are thinking about is called "Forever" Kanye cancelled app to rewrite his verse You appreciate good music..you dont judge Marshall by his skin color. I like that. Sooo many black people hate on Em
That's why I love the line that's coming up I'll be the Iggy Pop to of hip hop into it like you're going to the booth like biggie rocking with Tupac in a suit talking to proof dropping a deuce and refillable syllables clip 18:55
He's also christian now, and it make sense because he's been close to death, and a lot of people convert to religion after a near death experience (not that I think more or less of him because of that, just pointing that out)
You gotta checkout you and me Yelawolf, and phenomenal by Eminem for the southpaw movie, and Southern hospitality by Yelawolf, Jelly Roll and Struggle Jennings, yeah checkout Roll on with Yelawolf and Kid Rock
I’m enjoying watching your reactions! 🙂 Em actually got religious (first time I ever really heard him do it) on the DJ Khalad song “Use This Gospel” if you want to check it out!
@@Hydepop19 I’ve been listening to Em from the very beginning and know ALL of his songs but nice try lol Spirituality is NOT the same as religion and he has never had a song about the Bible or Christianity. He has said things about God and has crossed himself, etc and has spoken in interviews but has never had a song where he says things like “Jesus is my savior”. You can believe in God and have a strong relationship there (Spirituality) and not be a very religious person. Of course there’s his verse on “Best Friend” which could be called a double but his fans know he was talking about there. Have a wonderful day! 🙂
Enjoyed your reaction. I'd like to clear something out, though. Eminem and Slim Shady the artists is VERY different than Marshall Matthers, the person. You'll see it in this video when he crosses himself and several others, including Cleaning Out My Closet, Beautiful, Not Afraid; in other words, his inspirational music.
I will say Em has dropped a little over the years about trying to find some kind of relationship with God. It's definitely not his obvious persona but I've heard enough to believe he has dabbled in Christianity and wants some of that
Wait.. You think ppl don't wanna hear Yela? Sure, Em can Rap. We know this.. But a rapper w Barz like Yela that can also sing? That's 3 Stacks territory!
@@MugnifyRTS damn.. Didn't realize that the analytics were that specific. I got you. Hope you become a fan of Yela. His Black Sheep album was supposed to be his exit to rap but he just did "Alligator Boots" w Struggle and as always... 🔥
I took a whole quarter in college on Em, it was a literature class, the most amazing class pulling all his lyrics and playing find all the meanings!😂
As an English teacher, I definitely think you can teach Em in class as an example of lyricism. I showed students verses from Lose Yourself and pointed out allusions and double entendres. As well, his flows are amazing.

the em bars in this are brilliant. poetry really
Without a doubt is the literal definition of PROOF
This is the best break down of Ems bars I’ve ever seen! Thanks!!❤❤
Kanye West changed his verse after hearing Eminem verse on forever.
You can be completely spiritual without practicing religion.
Literally the teaching of Buddhism and 🕉️ Hinduism 😊
em snaps so hard on this
Love your reactions man
Gonna have to look into more of your reactions... you were spot on.
Em points to his forearm at his proof tattoo
Wow this guy is good not many people know who Eminem is talking about on the first time hearing this
Yelawolf is a really awesome artist to he is one of my favorites.
Eminem is a freak when rapping ... 😂
I like your Em reactions! Nice done bro!

He said people can argue that eminem isn't the best lyricist. WHAT?
You got the essence of it is the meaning of it and everything comes around even if it wasn't dead on it worked for word that meaning is what hit.
He’s absolutely the GOAT

fascinating how all of you Reactors can determine all the double meanings in a split second......
