Fred being a somewhat loose cannon who still uses intricate traps to catch footage and confessions on tape, suspects, and other evidence. Velma still being the brains and chemist expert, working with substance evidence, DNA samples, etc. Could even have her doing autopsy work, given she would likely have the stronger stomach for such things given her more inquisitive mind. Take the mystery machine, give it a black intel van makeover with a small lab in the back. Heck, upgrade it to a small RV maybe for more room.

After he died the same science teacher founded a program called “buddy’s buddies” that gave scholarships for community work. Both my sister and me both had the privilege of helping it take off. And now buddy’s successor and younger adopted brother Buddy jr is the face of that program.
Correction about Revelie's group of care taker, Core is a term used in Air Force to refer to a specific squadron, Core Alpha, Core Beta, Core Charlie etc. In other words, Revelie is not just a mascot, she is part of the team and is just as valued as other students.
Also, as far as I'm aware with the story about Revellie being stolen, they were friends of Burnie Burns from Rooster Teeth, IIRC he talked about it on their podcast.
