I would double check this, but iirc if you go to the very bottom right on 4-3 and stay there, you can’t get hit by chickens, planes, or bullet bills.
Really enjoy these game boy games, can you PLEASE consider running super hunchback? It was my fav game boy game of all time. Infuriating end which i never mastered.

That’s correct. I actually use a Super Game Boy 2 because the original Super Game Boy runs the games a little faster than a Game Boy.

Hey darb, how do you record a TV screen to show a snes on twitch? I am really trying to get into Speedrunning but I don't know how to do that.
You need a capture card and a RCA splitter for the most basic setup. Look up “GV-USB2” - it is an excellent entry level card that is widely used by speedrunners.

It took me about 45 minutes to do this back in the day. I even did hard mode once. I got really good at the final two guardians because my sister always asked me to kill them for her
I wonder what the highest possible score you could get is and is there a speedrun of this which also includes hard mode

You should try speedrunning the Tak trilogy! Tak and the Power of Juju, Tak 2 the Staff of Dreams and Tak the Great Juju Challenge! Amazing 3D platformers GameCube! Also fantastic speed games with all kinds of tricks and skips to pull off!

Why would the star lock the game up like you mentioned before?
There’s a glitch that’s triggered if you collect the star during a certain part of the level music. The game will lock up when the star expires and it tries to resume the level music.

Yes I think atleast 1 of the verifiers one of them being the WR HOLDER HIMSELF FOR THE GAME I DONT THINK HES EVEN SPEEDRUNNING ATLEAST NOT RIGHT NOW NO ONE ELSE IS EVEN ANYWERE CLOSE TO HIS WR FOR THAT GAME EXCEPT FOR YOU YOUR ABOUT HALF A MINUTE AWAY I SEE ONLY 3 PEOPLE ARE SUBMITTED A RUN TO THAT CATEGORY 4 INCLUDING YOU OF COURSE
Man I really tend to fail under pressure for the last week I've been trying to beat the any% WR IN dadish 2 and I've been getting to the Last few levels on WR PACE and for some reason I fail and die under pressure like Man it's so frustrating I'm like 0 and like 20 against the pressure in that category pressure really gets to me
Conquering pressure is a practice in and of itself. Deep breaths when you feel it approaching and keep your eye on the prize.

i loved this game as a kid.
i remember finding my gbc with this cartridge in it when i was moving in my late teens. On a hot summer night, laying in bed, after a day of lifting and a lot of stretching and swimming, my protein fueled farts kept my girlfriend awake, as the stank slowly rose from under the blanket. Luckily her constant nagging and the disappointment in her face were invisible and numb to me, as i was busy playing this game all night, right next to her, with my little bedside lamp on.
