Cam just hasnt been coached correctly since he been drafted, he been gettin overshadowed and misused on teams, especially wit the knicks. If used correctly in LA, he will be a perennial all-star.

The length, competitive spirit, shot blocking, rim running, wing defense, and shooting all got way better! And we kept Reaves and Vandy and Rui!? (Even D-Lo is a great keeper with all the added defense and shooting so he can be a brainy, saavy , disrupter who’s 3pt % will probably get close to .40 with this group.. AD and LBJ are surrounded by a pretty perfect squad.. maybe a little weight/muscle at the 5 could cap all angles, but we can sign Howard for the playoffs or something.. You heard or here 1st 60wins
At what point are we going to stop making excuses for Reddish. Yes he had alot of hype coming out of high school. But he has had 5 seasons to show his potential and he hasn't. It's a reason he's been past around to 4 different teams. NBA franchises don't just give up on players with his potential for no reason just temper expectations.
@skylimitkt just because Monk had success does not automatically mean the same will happen to Reddish. He has had a change of scenery twice. Even in portland, they inserted him right into the starting line, and he had the green light to do what he does best, and he was still inconsistent. I'm not saying he stinks, but some people are talking like his going to turn into an Allstars cause he plays for us now and am just not buying it.
There's so many examples of players not being given a chance to develop properly and bc of that they get passed around ,and get written off until they find the right team and fit.

As a Hawks fan, I can genuinely say that Cam Reddish is terrible, which is why he keeps getting cut, benched, and traded. He can do two things well besides shoot free throws. He can shoot catch and shoot 3s and defend (when he feels like it). He can't finish at the rim, he can't hit pull up jumpers, he can't rebound, and he cannot get assists. He is a three and D player, which is valuable, but he thinks he is a super star who should have the ball and complains when he doesn't. It's not High School where he can bully everyone with size. The best case scenario for him is to become Trevor Ariza, and he will be in Europe next year if he cannot accept that role.
This doesn't mean shit. A lot of players were dominating in high school and they dont do as good in the nba. I think the lakers is not a good fit for Reddish
