    • @vincentpaul8119

    Another amazing city - a shockingly huge one compared to what it was a few decades ago - in China, but it has, like all Chinese cities, a truly disturbing number of surveillance cameras. There must be overlapping systems of redundant surveillance. It looks to me like complete overkill, especially with the many other ways of monitoring the population in place in the country. Why so fearful? It looks like life is good in these places. Certainly these cities are transformed from prior eras and built out in stunning ways.
    Thanks for all the tours.

    • @中国街景
      @中国街景  Рік тому +5

      Thanks! The surveillance systems you speak of are intelligent traffic management systems, which are designed to manage traffic through computers with little human intervention. Instead, I am more worried about whether the cameras of mobile phones and cars will interfere with personal privacy.

    • @user-kj1wq7vg7p
      @user-kj1wq7vg7p Рік тому

      可能是理念不同,你们不习惯被监控,但我们中国人很在意治安问题,我们喜欢安全的城市,因为有这些监控才能让坏人有所忌惮!
      我们中国在2006年左右的时候治安非常差,晚上走在路上都不能打电话,因为你可能会被抢!也可能你多看了别人一眼可能会被打!现在我们不再担心这些问题了,你可以放心的在任何时间段走在大街上都不用担心会有坏人来威胁你。
