Das ist die Königsdisziplin im tontechnischen Sinne. Von wegen USB-Stick oder 4 Decks. Er kennt jede Soundspur in und auswendig (daher ohne Kopfhörer), ist ein Mozart der elektronischen Musik.
Paul Kalkbrenner ist das was alle andere sein wollen. Er macht die Musik vor Ort live und spielt nicht irgend welche fertig gemixte Sets. Sein Sound ist einzigartig und individuell. Mag sein das vieles sich ähnlich anhört, aber das ist sein Sound.
Maria San Jozez , Der Meinung schließe ich mich an. Seine Musik höre ich auch sehr gerne aber eher zum chillen oder Auto fahren, aber zum richtig feiern halt etwas zu lahm.

Mainstream oder nicht, viele seiner Songs erzeugen Gänsehaut bei mir. Somewhen hat mal Gebrünn Gebrünn als letzten Track im Berghain gespielt, die Leute haben es richtig gefeiert. Den Soundtrack von Berlin Calling habe ich schon so oft gehört, den Film etliche Male gesehen, ich finde beides unfassbar gut.
Was wohl in jedem von uns für ein Künstler schlummert wenn schon ein einfacher Kalkbrenner so Genial ist. Mal davon abgesehen das Paule der genialste von allen ist. Ich hör auch gern Alfred Heinrichs oder Thomas Lizzara je nach Stimmung aber an Genialität kommt keiner ran an Paule.

Vielleicht der beste Produzent, für mich persönlich auf jeden Fall (ok, wer kennt schon alles :). Den Mix kommentiere ich mit einem Kalkbrenner Zitat: " I AM NOT A DJ". (ESSENTIAL MIX BBC ONE) Er kann es nicht. Jeder Amateur wird ausgebuht für solche Übergänge.
