I just bought mine 2024 Pilot Touring, exact same color (White Exterior, Grey Interior), except mine is AWD. I've had less than a week so far and do have a couple things to say. First of all I think they should have had the heated steering wheel standard on this trim level. I've used the LKAS and Adaptive Cruse, but what is Traffic Assist (Is that some sort of Hands off Stop and Go). Or just fancier name for the Brake Hold? I also wish it had the standard tow package like the Trailsport. There should have been an easier option to add a tow package vs the dealer option that was around $1k (too expensive). Also for the interior dash and infotainment center, it should auto dim at night, my 2019 Ram truck did this, also when remote starting the Pilot, it should at least turn on the parking lights to give a visual indicator its on and working. Right now there are no visual cues to know its running. Should also have Power Folding mirrors at this trim level. The rear view camera resolution is poor in my opinion, we have a 2016 Accord and resolution doesn't seem better. My 2019 Ram Truck rear camera was 10x clearer than this new 2024 Pilot. Also question about the carpet floor mats, does it come with floor mats for the 3rd row? Mine didn't, only came with mats for 1st & 2nd row. Just wondering to check if our dealer forgot or not to put it in my vehicle when i bought it. Another grip, the wireless charger is pretty much useless for me, it works fine as long as I'm not driving, but while driving the phone slides around and stops charging. The 9" Infotainment center seems dated compared to lots of competitors like the Kia and Hyundai, that has more modern looking dash layout. But for me ultimately picked the Pilot because I like the exterior styling better than Telluride and Palisade and since we already own an older Honda Accord, I like the reliability for Honda, as we have had zero issues from our 7 year old accord. Other thing with the 10 speed transmission, It shifts through 4-5 gears before I even reach 25mph which is kinda annoying to me. But at higher speeds is great. I'm sure I'll think of other things since I've had it less than a week. I do love the Bose Audio System, Panoramic Roof, Removable Seat to switch between 7 or 8 Seaters. Dealer here also added a bunch of stuff to increase from the base MSRP as well, so sticker on mine was close to $52k with the options, but negotiated down to $49 almost $50k, basically discounted $2500 for my out the door price because I found some lower pricing to show the dealer that if he wouldn't come down in price, I didn't mind travelling anywhere within a 2hr drive distance to save $2-3 grand, so they matched it and I bought it. Overall I love the vehicle despite some of the few things I've mentioned above. If I think anything else time will tell. Would like to change the tires to an All Terrain though, I just like the look and extra traction, so just looking whats available and would fit on the Touring model. Sorry for the long rant, perhaps I should do a video of all the things I like and dislike about my Pilot after my 5 days of ownership so far.
I love your rant, and appreciate every word you wrote! Thanks so much. My parents just got one exactly like this and I’m figuring as much as I can out to ensure they’re using it to its full ability
How important is that in the grand scheme of things though? Compared to say ride, handling, reliability, ease of use, safety ratings, cargo space, seat comfort, noise levels, MPG, etc?
I just bought a Touring last weekend and love it. I paid $52k with dealership added features (cargo net and cargo cover), plus I added a towing hitch. Coming out of the 2022 Pilot Ex-L (and the EX 19, 16, 09 AND 04, before that), the display is perfect. I was concerned that Honda was going to follow the Tesla display, which is way too big, in my opinion. As you probably guessed, I LOVE Honda, especially Pilots! I’ve also had the 01 CRV, 12 Civic and 07 Accord.
Awesome review as usual. Eventhough I like the Elite trim better, I believe the Touring trim is the best bang for the buck. Our closest Honda dealership is charging 4k over msrp. Another dealership about 2 hours away is not charging anything over msrp. When it's time to buy, guess what? I'm taking the 2 hour drive.
One of the best reviews on this vehicle. Thank you. I usually hate dealer add ons because they're just money makers for a dealer that's already making thousands on the car. That's OK though because it just gives us more negotiation leverage.
Thank you. I'm leaving tomorrow to purchase my 3rd Honda, which will be the Pilot Touring model. Your video has helped me make up my mind. It's hard to leave the dependability and the safety of a Honda for me. Looked at the VW Atlas, which does have a bigger info screen, but when I checked the reviews, there seemed to be many having problems with the technology. I'll take Honda's simplicity and reliability over a big screen.
The LX model today has 10 times more features than my 2006 Pilot EX. All Pilots use the same engine and transmission go for the lower trims just to get that. Everything else is a bonus. If you need luxury get the MDX.
Honda needs to get rid of the flawed push button gear shifter near the cup holder. A Honda mechanic told me he has replaced many of them because spilled beverages ruins the electronics.
I just bought the 2024 Pilot touring and I wish it had the power side mirrors and the backup camera needs an update as it’s very grainy and nothing like my 2018 Honda odyssey was. Maybe they can fix it with an upgrade sent out to all or having us go to a Honda dealer and getting it fixed. Other than these items I love my Honda.
nice. looking more like a Dodge Durango which by the way is being discontinued after 2024. Just needs more sporty looking wheels after buying a new one. Considering this model. Stellantis prices are outrageous due to their spending on EV
Adjust your seat and side mirrors to where u want them then push the set button for the memory seats and push which button u want it programmed to. The set button should light up when u push it and you’ll hear a double beep after u hit the 1 or 2 to confirm the programming. Also keep in mind that the 2 keys are number #1 and 2 to correspond with the 1 and 2 on the memory programming for the seat/mirror.
how did you get the lights to that? I have the same car when i hit the hazards light switch my bottom light doesn't blink that way. Should i turn off auto lights?
Nice looking Pilot... towing hitch was not factory optioned and very expensive at dealership. Honda is chinsing out a little on top model Pilots. Inside door panels in rear are too much plastic! Hard plastic....Rear camera is old school... give us a good quality camera! We always want lockable gas filler doors! My Ridgeline has it, why not top line Honda Pilot? No arm rest on mid row seats when taking out the center position.... These cars are NOT cheap, so give us what we deserve Honda - please!
I feel not so much Toyota, but I do feel Honda is just sitting on their namebrand and expecting the Honda name to sell itself. JD power ranks Mazda and Kia right up there with them in reliability. Kia offers much more tech at same trim levels as honda
Korean competitors are using outdated engineering on the engines, drive shafts, and undercarriage components. Interiors are fantastic but dont be fooled
Folks I test drove 5 Honda Pilots and I can tell you, they really are not that impressive. The biggest thing for me was the steering wheel is weird? I feel like I'm rotating the wheel completely just to turn slightly left or right. I ended up buying another SUV but don't get the Honda Pilot. This suv sucks

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience!
Uhmm…look at the yearly maintenance cost for a RAM
I love your rant, and appreciate every word you wrote! Thanks so much. My parents just got one exactly like this and I’m figuring as much as I can out to ensure they’re using it to its full ability
This does have power folding mirrors, button to left side of the mirror adjustment buttons
A vehicle of this size and trim level should really have a 10-12 inch screen.
I barley use my screen anyways
How important is that in the grand scheme of things though? Compared to say ride, handling, reliability, ease of use, safety ratings, cargo space, seat comfort, noise levels, MPG, etc?
The smaller and unobtrusive those screen, the better.😊
Venice Honda in Florida 5% below MSRP for my white/black Elite. No addendum, no nitrogen in the tires, no BS added. Prices are coming down a lot.
OTD price

Is that $52,000 OTD?

Happy to see the blind spot monitor on the outside mirrors which is a better location then previous models
Those captains chairs should have inboard armrests. Honda should figure out a way to include them
They do if you buy the 7 seater captain chair model. If it's 8 seater then they don't have them
One of the best reviews on this vehicle. Thank you. I usually hate dealer add ons because they're just money makers for a dealer that's already making thousands on the car. That's OK though because it just gives us more negotiation leverage.
Had fog lights on my 06 Tacoma. They weren’t used six times in 17 years.

Yes of course and this will be my first vehicle.

My daughter has a 2020 Honda Pilot and she loves it..
What’s the difference between the 2024 & 2025 touring
Honda needs to get rid of the flawed push button gear shifter near the cup holder. A Honda mechanic told me he has replaced many of them because spilled beverages ruins the electronics.
I'm severely on the fence between the Touring (AWD) and Elite.
Love The Honda Pilot Sweet SUV, The Japanese Make Solid Automobiles

Great videos!! Thanks!! So some Honda dealers in Houston have like 6k off from MSRP up until Dec 2nd I believe
You're welcome! Thank you for sharing.
I have a 2021 Highlander, This will be my next SUV.🙂
Beautiful vehicle❤

The Honda pilot is a good vehicle. One of my main beefs with them and Toyota is they don't seem to want to make a comfortable seat.
That cell phone screen is silly
It’s weird that I have to fix the side mirror everytime I drive. How do I make this permanent, so I don’t have to adjust everytime I drive. Thanks
Adjust your seat and side mirrors to where u want them then push the set button for the memory seats and push which button u want it programmed to. They don’t have the DVD player anymore?
I have a Honda Pilot
Does it have homelink ?
If I did love the brand reliability I'd go hundai they care more about owner enjoyment
how did you get the lights to that? I have the same car when i hit the hazards light switch my bottom light doesn't blink that way. Should i turn off auto lights?
They don't actually blink. That has to do with my camera but it is not actually happening.
@@VehicleVisionary ahhhh ok
Watch most UA-cams of these vehicles. The lights are flickering.

The fuel door does lock. If the vehicle is locked so is the fuel door. You have to have the vehicle unlocked to be able to access the fuel filler
Wish the lane change and braking was optional especially while using cruise control it’s extremely annoying
The elite is better
Ex vs touring a 4k different for a sunroof. other then that basically same specs. Def not worth the 4k
I feel not so much Toyota, but I do feel Honda is just sitting on their namebrand and expecting the Honda name to sell itself. JD power ranks Mazda and Kia right up there with them in reliability.
Kia offers much more tech at same trim levels as honda
All black interior is pouring and a rip off. CHEAP
Easy to clean if you have pets or kids I like lighter interior colors until I have to clean the car
💖👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍💖
$51k+ with no ventilated front seats, no heated second row seats, and a 9in screen. No wonder people are flocking to the Korean competitors.
Korean competitors are using outdated engineering on the engines, drive shafts, and undercarriage components. Interiors are fantastic but dont be fooled
Poorly put together...except for paint and body...direct injection engines are junk.
The Korean competitors can’t touch Honda in reliability and resale value!!
The Koreans don't drive as well and dynamic matter
Folks
