I remember that Elijah thought his siblings were dead. So something must have happened afterwards.
Sweetly not dead he klaus said he threw them in the deepest ocean so basically dead. When he was gonna kill klaus that’s when klaus said he didn’t drop them in the ocean that they are safe but Elijah would never find them if he killed klaus so he didn’t kill him
It is mentioned in the originals 3x15 when Klaus talks to Cami. He said that he disappeared and told Elijah he threw their family into the ocean
This is a continuity error. It was established in earlier seasons that Klaus and Elijah had a fallen out in 1995 when Klaus lied and said he got rid of their sibling, because Mikael had completely vanished and that scared Klaus so he wanted to disappear too.
I guess it was when Bonnie mother took on Michael and he dissappeared after that which terrified Klaus he described that period to Cami that he was scared and lonlier than ever which made him tell Elijah he threw his siblings in the ocean.
I need Elijah to get his memories back I miss scenes like this Elijah checking Klaus

Elijah, I fear, was afraid of Mikael as well. Seeing his brother being abused like that, he feared if he didn't do as his father asked he'd get a similar treatment...abusers have that kind of effect.

@@pepperdayjackpac4521 lol that one event is what defined him. His parents making him suppress his werewolf side is what made him feel ashamed of it. It’s what made him spend 1000 years trying to get it back. It’s what made him kill Esther, and subsequently caused Mikael to hunt him for all that time. So yeah, that one event is pretty much the basis of everything Klaus is.

@@thomasraines1396no, Mikael abused them mentally, which is probably worse than physical abuse because physical injuries can heal, but mental scars take years or even lifetimes to heal
@@deadpooldan9862 I’m taking about Klaus, he constantly threw a temper tantrum and made himself out to be the victim when his siblings didn’t do what he wanted.
Elijah and Rebekah were abused right alongside Klaus, and he conveniently forgot or ignored that in order to claim sole victimhood. Then, he became an abuser himself towards his siblings, and when they fought back or tried to find happiness outside of him, he claimed, "betrayal!" He never took accountability for what he did, it was always someone else's fault or he had an excuse for why it was OK.
Finn honestly had the right idea, he tried to leave with Sage after he turned her, but then Klaus stuck him in a box because he didn't want any of them to leave him.
And the show entertains him and makes all of siblings wants to be apart of the fucked up family when they were all well within in their rights to Klaus to kick rocks.

There’s a difference tho Klaus would do this because he didn’t want rebekah to leave him and Elijah would do it to keep her safe. Elijah staked rebekah in s3 but he didn’t want to do it. She kept yelling at him so he could do it. Elijah would hurt his brothers but not his sisters, he protected rebekah so many time from Klaus. And when freya first came, Elijah accepted her

Honestly, what’s worse: knowing there’s nothing you can do while you’re parent abuses you or standing by and watching your brother get beaten to a pulp knowing there’s nothing you can do despite every cell in your body screaming at you to do something?
