- We want to take you along as the boys go snowboarding at Alyeska Ski Resort in Girdwood, Alaska. We made a full day out of it and enjoyed spending time with our cousins in the snow. If there is one thing we know about getting through the Alaskan winters, it is to get outside and have some fun. We hope you enjoy it and are so grateful you are here! The Hamms

@@ThisAlaskaLife I was thinking, If i was only a few decades younger, that looks like fun! Don't think it was popular when I was younger -- just skiing :-) And, while 4WD works in the snow, when you are dealing with ice -- not so much . Thankful you all had fun and arrived home safely :-)
@@emmib1388 thank you, we are so glad we made it home safe too! And you are so right about the 4wd, even my sister’s Tahoe was having a hard time with the ice. Mark is amazing to keep up with the boys but I have never snowboarded so it is up to him!

First of all a huge thanks to Mark for the go pro shots they are awesome. Sean and Chase WOW we might one day see these two in the Winter Olympics!!🏂🏂🏂 Hunter and Bennett dont look far behind on the snow boarding skills. Well done to all the kids you are rocking it.
Lauren you impress, me not to be left out you get on the sleigh and get into the fun as well. Have you ever been on a Chairlift in Summer? I have and heck thats so scary as the drop underneath you without without the snow is so far down. What Australians wouldnt give for snow like that to ski on!! But you guys probably say the same thing about our beaches and the great surfing, diving and snorkelling to be had down under👍. Thanks for sharing glad you all got home safe. Great day out.
I agree, Mark did such an amazing job filming with the GoPro. I felt like I got to go along with them watching all the footage. The boys are all getting so amazing and I just love watching all the cousins together. I didn’t grow up with cousins around so I really feel grateful they have each other.
We have taken a ride on the chairlifts in the summer a few times and it is a bit unnerving. You are right about Alaskans longing for beaches, that’s probably why so many of us escape to Hawaii (at least before Covid). Thank you so much for watching and commenting, it makes all the time putting these videos together worth it to know people are enjoying them.

I have never snowboarded .looks fast .I'm a roller skater!! Haha. Thanks for sharing your kids, since I have none.🏂and we have no snow in Phoenix. My cats named moon shadow. 🌓🐈

Yes and it was not easy with Everett climbing in and out and Weston dragging on it. It was nice to get out but it made for a lot of work! Mark did a great job filming the boys snowboarding, they are getting so good!
Im just learning how to snowboard also.
Im also 12 any advice?
Find ways to practice! The boys have played with their snowboards a ton on small sledding hills and in our backyard. Just get out there and have some fun! Thanks for watching!
