There's a swindle in Mexico where your tour guide just tells the corrupt police to come whenever there are chances to take your money. At the end of your tour, after you're out of money, either you get robbed by the tour guides friends for commision, or worse, your passport gets 'lost' so now you have to wait at your hotel for weeks until people with more money come to help you organize your Visa and travel. Then, they go for the last con and make you pay another fee to expedite your leave, which you're happy to pay any amount at this point. It's very manipulative and frustrating, bc it makes tourists miserable, and gives people an awful impression of the locals/country. I'm glad you fired the local producer. It seems like things went way better without them.
I was thinking the same thing regarding this topic^ it is pretty sus that now that the producer wasn’t present- they had a peaceful outing with filming.
These hard working egyptian people are so kind! The police and those in power give the people of Egypt a bad name. I can tell by the footage so far that there are many nice individuals you've met during your time there, despite all the awful police.

In Egypt people sing not just for love they literally sing for everything. Food, houses, cars. They do take singing too serious. 😀
“He is a bit useless anyways” 😂 I’m happy they treated him the way they did.
Pretty sure that guy you hired is the one calling the police. That was a good move to kick his ass out.
Whenever my family decides they want stomach or head for lunch i just eat outside
I tried brain once, and i can still feel the flavor
i love the sheeps brain most. best with garlic sauce
lol I wish you good luck here in Egypt :)
brothers who are upset about the treatment of this UA-camr in this way I am Syrian and I tell you that any country has the right to take any measures it finds in order to preserve the security of its citizens, and I tell you that you have forgotten America’s treatment of foreign citizens, and Arabs in particular, at airports after the events of September 11 and even for years after it. Our beloved Egypt has the right to take all measures it deems appropriate to maintain its security And I see him as strong evidence that he is American and he was not tolerated or facilitated
I went to Egypt and 3 of my friends got really bad food poisoning, you are really brave eating there, they don’t know what food hygiene is.
impressive that you and your team created this series despite being hobbled from the get-go and throughout by the police. this could be an ad for the video story maker potential of a good team and the iphone.
@17:45 Barely Caught that The Oil Shot at Exon Lol 😂
I have a Samsung ( handed down from a contract and it works) but this video is certainly good advertising for IPhone.
Hope he gets rewarded for that.
I'm surprised you didn't like the mulikhiyah so much.. it taste heavenly 😋 and you can eat it alone like a soup
To be honest dude, the iphone footage looks amazing. I probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference if I didn't know.
You missed the most iconic and traditional food 😢it's called kushari it's the best one out of all of them. You should've tried it
He ate it in another video
Real life mr incredible
Tahini is by no means a type of hummus, it is used in the process to make hummus though.
They probably watched too much Argo. This is still a good episode!
You are just a grest presenter sonny .you are the best man. Very intelligent funny well spoken presenter .that is YOU .SONNY SIDE. PERFECT JUST PERFECT .
Sonny is so cruel. In the first video he gives us all the reasons to avoid Egypt and in the second video he shows us amazing food and bird keepers! I literally had just eaten but am hungry again ^^ I don't believe in keeping pets - but if your flying pets return back to you, it means something.
I'm amazed by the fact that despite being under a lot of stress and only having an iPhone to shoot with, you manage to provide us quality content. Thank you Sonny and big shoutout to the whole team.
You got his name wrong.
@@danm8004 thank you. The autocorrect got me
@Mando lol
@Mando I mean this channel is about being naked and education isn't it?

Wow👏 I’m impressed How you got to know these places! I’m Egyptian and I live in Cairo but I’ve never seen these neighborhoods and I’ve never tried most of these street food. “Old Cairo” is so different wow! Thank you for this experience, and SORRY for What happened with the police, unfortunately we are used to it 🥲 Good job 👏
What a corrupt, chaotic and anxiety riddled place to be…. Geez
@@cristyluv1205 All Arab countries are like this, and one of the reasons is the support of Western governments for these regimes
@@nightsmanasdf9058 the western governments want Arab countries to be corrupt like this
@@nightsmanasdf9058 they've always been like this, since long before there was a "West". You act as if these countries have no agency. Don't blame their scum on anything other than their backward, barbaric minds!

This video is a great advertisement for Apple of what the iphone is capable of with professional editing, a gimbal and some lights, great job!
I am an Apple fanboy. But the color and depth is just not there compared to larger camera. Small sensor like iPhone has need a lot of light to get a beautiful shot. Sure AI in iPhone can help a bit but there is only so much it can do currently. There is a reason why normal camera and lens is much bigger.
It's the same if you have an android. Camera qualities don't differ a lot when you record in the sunlight
@@Theoryofcatsndogs I agree, I'm kind of anti phone and go pro, I prefer using a good mirrorless camera and there is a big difference but nevertheless the iphones and go pros have come along way.

As an Egyptian, I apologize for the behavior of the police. I also want to thank you for showing everything honestly and we Egyptians respect that very much
There is no reason to apologise. I am Egyptian born and growing up and leaving in Europe. Believe western police is rubbish as well.
@@soundso9144 yup I was just about to say that
I am simply blown away by how hard working, dedicated, passionate and humble these amazing people are to present us such quality shows for free. I have learned so much about different cultures and I will never get to see these places due to me being a poor West Virginian girl. But I’m so glad someone like Sonny can share it all with us. Thank for you all that you guys do. It makes a positive difference in average lives like mine around the world.

We are Egyptians
We love guests and we love comedy
😘👍
I agree love his show
I absolutely love that this show is brutally honest about their “surroundings”. Please do not ever hide the bad/awkward situations in the various societies you encounter. Keep up the great work showing us the world!
that should also include ''civilised'' western nations
@@PoorDummIdiots i think russia takes that title for now.
@@paimei26 he shows pretty much everything but encounters a lot more awkward situations in eastern countries because of 1. A language barrier and 2. Completely different cultures and also in this case Egypt is very corrupt and authoritarian
This... exactly this. Makes me actually appreciate places and cultures more and not less.
imagine if you where dark skin....it could have been worse
If you ever come back to Oman, my aunt makes a killer "Babloo" dish that I'm quite sure you haven't tried yet. :)
They went to Oman a few years ago, it was an awesome series in an awesome country. Check it out.
