i've made a coil 30 turns of 0.5mm wire into a circle of 155mm diameter I've connected for inductance but doesn't show anything other than ones. it is supposed to show around 310uH Any ideas? Thank you for reading!
While I can't give any guarantees when it comes to safety, I can say that I have used this meter hundreds of times to measure voltages in the tube amp I designed myself, some as high as 450V. I would not, however, recommend measuring unfused mains circuits or mains panel bus bars with it, as the arc flash risk would be much greater there.
Great little meters.... got a UT61e and it performs quite admirable!

Got a UNI-T UT58E from dx. Great meters.
is it safe enough to work on tube amps with 300-400 V?
