I completely agree with you on finding a way to take time for yourself. As a homeschool mom of three (preggo with #4) I have scheduled my own "spring break". I asked my AMAZING mother in law to take these kids for a few days this month so mamma can rest and prep home for baby. After a tough start to 2024 I can say looking at my scheduled break on the calendar brightens my mood daily. We all deserve a mental health reset. ❤
Girllll...I am with you on the hotel and the late check in but early check out. It seems to be moving later and later. There was a time when you could check in at 12. I also try to get there as early as possible to "have" my time. Something needs to change with this.
It's absolutely ridiculous how hotels have positioned their times. And I've recently learned that hotels are now CHARGING for an early check-in/later checkout. That's INSANE!
Jessie that is so true about taking trips and what constitutes a "vacation". The idea that "certain people" aren't tripping because they are traveling in North America is so slanted and crazy. I am on a mission to solo travel around the US just to get used to going alone without my husband before traveling out of the country solo. I have certainly traveled out of the country but always with the husband or other family. Never alone. I am grateful that the US is actually beautiful and that I can have great experiences while staying one plane ride away from whats familiar to me. Thanks for confirming the truth about US travel!

I agree, I don’t feel that personal style is dead! Even if you dress for success based on the situation or occasion, you will still gravitate towards your personal likes and dislikes, which makes everyone unique.
