Fun fact: The reason thy the gamma gun works so well with the build limit exploit is because it has a high polygon count (about 40k IIRC). That way, it'll count to the settlement's workbench object reference's actor value 348, which is the settlement's current polygon build count (compared to the maximum, which is stored in actor value 349). @@christopherconard2831 Not quite true. The items themselves aren’t displayed as being available from other settlements, but the components those items contain is still taken into account of how much you have available to build with. Once all the raw components are used up, the workshop will automatically break down that other junk so it can use the necessary components from them to continue building with. You’ll know when this happens because the screen will display “X, Y, Z components were added to the workshop”. If you want to test this, remove all of an item from the workshop, like screws, but leave in objects like a typewriter, fan etc that still have screws in them. Craft a few things that use screws and you’ll see how the game will scrap that junk apart to take the necessary screws from them, now leaving you with the leftover gears, springs etc. from them.
Another glitch is a vendor glitch, first buy all of one ammo type from a vendor without confirming the trade, then swap back to your side of the trade screen, sell them back one bullet, then the rest, that will put a never ending "ghost" bullet back in your side of the trade screen, then sell the vendor this bullet as many times as you want, you can use this to get everything you want for free. (You may have to use different ammo types for different vendors, and it doesn't work on all vendors, but most of the main vendors are susceptible to this glitch)
Thank you so much for explaining tip number 6 at 8:30 into the video. I was able to figure out how to use the buttons just right to do it. I came back to rewatch this and noticed that your scrap menu is above the store menu. When I've been doing it, I think I do it quickly that I can't see the scrap menu but I know when it's scrapped by hearing that certain noise. When I hear that noise, then I click to confirm to store item. I know what I'm doing does work. If anyone isn't seeing the scrap menu but only the store menu...listen closely for that sound when you scrap things...then you know it's scrapped and then confirm to store it. Thought I'd point that out because it does work whatever I'm doing....many thanks to you! I have so much gold that I actually store some here and there in safes by my vendors so I don't have to walk far. Sometimes I'll ask my companion to pick it up then fast travel to other places where I can use the gold to sell. I also like doing this with the shipments since it's like a piece of paper and it doesn't weigh anything.
@@raccoon225 this is why you need a good engine to make a game. I use unreal. I don't blame anyone who uses unity. Far cry 5 used something unconventional but there really good game devs
There are 2 that I know of that were never patched. Bethesda claimed to patch them but failed. Both will require the dlc that has conveyor belts and what have you. 1. Duplicate literally anything ranging from drugs, small to medium weapons, shipments etc by placing an item holder/conveyor (I forget what they are called). With an additional conveyor belt in front. You can then power the system and place items on the belt, taking the item right before it disappears into the item holder. If this is difficult for you, try placing a carpet, then a large dumpster on said carpet, grab the carpet and maneuver the dumpster into the item holder. Try to get it as close as possible to the point at which the items disappear. This should give you a visual aid to assist in timing your press. 2. While playing on survival, use the above dup glitch to get several Special books. Aiming for around 170ish books. Use those books, dropping 10 at a time(store used books separately) to get all 10s on your SPECIAL. Then, wait 3 in game days without sleep, food or water. (Be sure to have stimpacks readily available) you will be able to use more books, between 6-9 more for each stat, then restore your character to health via sleep, food and water. Your SPECIALs should now all be above 14 at least, endurance and strength are usually around 18. Giving you a God like character without mods. Try taking said character to very easy in you want to melt anything you touch essentially
The Scribe Thanxs but I could never get the timing right, If I do it too early nothing happens if I do it 2 late the storage eats it and if I do it right in the middle the item is removed from my inventory
You can unsteal stolen items by pickpocketing the stolen items back into any enemy inventory if your perks are high enough. Then kill the enemy and loot the item off the corpse. The item will no longer come up as stolen.
I was glad when I first discovered this, but in Fallout 4, having a ‘stolen’ mechanic is almost pointless because any vendor will still buy it. It’s not like ES where you have to find Fences to sell stolen stuff to.
The arnor/weapon mod works with all crafting stations, meaning you can craft infinite chems or food, and there is one thing he missed, even though it says you will consume resources, it won't use any resources unless the item you first selected and the item you switched to include some of the same resources, an example in case you didn't quite get it, in a cooking station you can get 3 pieces of radroach meat, and use the glitch to scroll up and make "Grilled queen nukalurk" which can be sold for caps and works great for low charisma characters of you need to purchase an expensive weapon, and since the grilled queen nukakurk and grilled radroach don't need any of the same resources, you won't consume anything and can go infinitely, and with will also work with chems
Glitch#10. Works great. I had piper lugging arpund 30k lbs of gear. The draw back os having them loot bodies. Due to the full inventory they will only pick up one item at a time. In the vendor glitch, no rolling is necessary. Ising your index and middle finger, hold down the X button (on xbox). Simultaniously release the X button and press the B button (using your middle finger).
6:36 just a sidenote to the control directions given for the exploit in this section of the video and I'm not completely sure that it's true in all cases but on console versions of the game while attempting this glitch I found it far more efficient and responsive using the analog sticks to process this command as a pose to the directional pads that seem to have a higher latency for input triggers. As such I'm just saying I find you can use this exploit faster and more efficiently through analog not d-pad but preference is always up to the player 🤷 still continuing with the rest of the video and thusfar it has been brilliant, as always.tecebtly got back into fallout and it's a breath of fresh air, if the modding community sticks it out and starts collaberation together with one another I can see fallout 4 easily milking another 10 years worth of quality content added to base game of which I'm thoroughly excited to utilise.. Bring out more quest mods modders!! 🥰
I'm pretty sure they've kept the companion storage glitch on purpose, like it's slow and tedious but it can benefit the player without breaking the game
Piper shoots at anything, at any range, regardless of cover. Deacon is almost as bad. I've seen Piper unload around 100 rounds from a combat rifle into a wall. Because there was a supermutant inside a building that happened to walk near a window. I've also seen her use a missile launcher at melee range.
@@shaheerrashid4787 I gave a Fatman to Piper and Cait during the Minutemen vs BOS battle (With our powers combined?). They used them like sniper rifles. I have a hard save just before the battle so I can try different scenarios. I also used the Dogmeat duplication glitch to make a bunch of Nuka Grenades for my settlers. Then turned off the defenses, so the BOS could get in close. Settlers will throw grenades at low flying Vertabirds, and everything else. Thirty some settlers throw a lot of grenades. The game almost crashed a few times, trying to keep up with the explosions. I just stood on a tower I built above The Castle and watched the battle. I am the General after all. Realistically, East Boston should be even more irradiated than the Glowing Sea.
Whenever I go on a supply run in survival, whenever I come back to base my companions have around 1K-2K pounds of armor, weapons and heavy items. All thanks to the storage glitch.
For an unknown reason, the "mod transplant" glitch, which allows you to scrap a weapon and apply some of its mods to another one, still works sometimes on the steam version.
If you have the contraptions dlc you can build the gunner cage instead of the a store for the scrap/store glitch. Incase you don't have local leader but it only gives you 150 caps tho. And for the resources dupe glitch if it bothers you (it really annoys me tho) when you drop the resources it's splitted into 2-4 stacks just pick them up again and drop them again it's still faster then performing the dupe glitch many times
Found a revelation, indestructible power armor. Get a companion (tried it with Hancock, will test with other companions soon), make them wear the power armor you want to work with, destroy the power armor they're wearing by hurting them in any way (the Ripper is a easy one to use, or a Fat Man if you can spare some nukes), dismiss them ONLY by dismissing them with Dogmeat (dismissing the companion yourself or with another companion will make them leave the power armor frame), then wait for 2 days and return to them. You will see that they're wearing the power armor but the pieces are still intact, taking a close inspection that you will see that the pieces of the power armor's health are 0. Now just take the power armor, mod it (you can mod it first then destroy it but it'll take longer), and you have a indestructible power armor! *testing if other companions besides Hancock will work
But it still shows 0 health. Have you tested it for damage protection during an attack? The frame alone has some damage protection, so it might be hard to tell. Sounds pretty cool if it works.
5:24 actually you can still choose other modification even the upgradable item is not beside it...you just need some sick scroll speed but it works....i recommend increasing your mouse dpi to scroll faster
I once encountered a glitch on Xbox where I pacified a brotherhood of steel Knight, pickpocket the fusion core, spoke with them, and their entire inventory would reset allowing for infinite fusion cores and power armor. What is possibly most curious about this is the fact that when the fusion core would be stolen from the power armor, the night would not exit. Using this glitch I farmed over 200 fusion cores over the course of three hours. Under the right circumstances this glitch should occur to anyone with the game, as I've never downloaded any DLCs nor Creation Club content.
No 5. Just be aware that when you've done this 6 times at one settlement, computer will say no and trash all your game saves. (I found out when trying to build my palace)
The #5 exploit to lower settlement limit can break the game. It will begin running slower and slower the more you do it, until finally it becomes unplayable
here is something most ppl don't know get codsworth and travel with him till you get the max affinity then go to your settlement and scrap items he will double what ever it is wether it be asbestos or wood or anything in between ex if you have one gold scrap it with codsworth as companion and you will get 2 then scrap the 2 for 4, then 8, 16, 32 you get the idea.
i haven't seen anything like that. his perk seems to be energy resist, nothing to do with scrapping shit. besides, like the video says, you could just ignore that and do the dupe glitch anyway. no need to use codsworth as a companion even one second. hell, can do that glitch right after meeting codsworth.
Nobody mentions the bug that happens when you use Gatling Laser and Power armor together? When power armor runs put of a charge and you get a new fusion core, the gun bugs. If you unequip and re-equip the gatling laser, you get a new fusion core of max charge no matter what ammo you had before, and your previous fusion core from the gun is deposited in your inventory.
I know of a glitch that basically gives you unlimited caps that prob still works. Start the quest Human Error in covenant, I’m not going to really spoil the quest because some people care, but all you have to know is that you need to take honest dan with you, side with him, and at the end of the quest he will talk to you. No matter what 4 options you chose, selecting any with grant you 300 caps. Because after he gives you caps, he still talks to you, so you can exploit this by leaving the dialogue after he gives you the caps. Leave the dialogue, wait 2 seconds and come back, dialogue will reset, select the 4 speech options, get 300 caps, repeat.
Hi Puma. Hope we haven't seen the last of your videos about Fallout 76. You were the first to speak out against this dumpster fire and I hope you will continue having more to say about it.
That companion command to pick up something worked in Skyrim. I remember using it on the 360. One day after quite some time of being away from the game. I returned to find that everything that my companion had was labeled stolen. Bethesda just patched it to make it difficult.
I was expecting to see the one where dogmeat bypasses the master lock in vault 111 in order to steal the cryolator. They've "patched" that one several times, but it's still working in 2020.
Dios No puedo creer que no se me ocurriera el glitch de la tienda en santuary, había echo mil veces el de duplicar chatarra y no pensé que sirviese para otra cosa cosa! Xd Nice Video!!
A brilliant vanilla exploit for my runs is make a character with at least 5 in luck, put 2 points in to "idiot savant" Now, whenever you are about to hand in a quest, make a save and keep reloading that save until the perk procs.. giving you 5x total xp gained! It'll still pop randomly whenever you gain xp, it's worth save scumming specifically quests for the most xp possible.
Another glitch I figured out, if you go in power armor and then face a wall, get out of the power armor while holding the look left button as the animation of you getting out is playing then begin spamming the button to get back in your power armor, if done correctly the power armor animation will be messed up and you will be in the wall, then just walk forward and through the wall with your power armor. This can be used to skip many quests. If you mess something up and go out of bounds reload a save or fast travel.
Thank you for these observations. I recently had that happen with one of my guns where suddenly had 999 bullets and I didn’t realize how that happened. Also this affect might be very helpful if I try survival mode again
Thankyou, these have been helpful iv been making the most of asking my friend to pick things up when they are full but iv been able to walk up walls yet
You can use the weapons duplication glitch on settlers too, by giving them the weapon you want to dupe and then attacking them. I find duplicating junk to be much more valuable, especially if you want to do some building.
@@popelkabalogova5450 When going to Arc Jet with Danse if you don't press the button and just let Danse fight the Synths and unlimited amount of them will spawn forever but only do it for 20 minutes otherwise you'll have to many bodies or ash piles around the area its the best way to get a lot of early fusion cells.
Not sure if this is a glitch or what but the first quest you do with Paladin Dance in the arcjet factory, at the end when you turn on the power while Dance is killing the synths in the engine chamber, if you don't click the button to start the engine Dance will continue to kill synths for as long as you want. Building up thousands of fusion cells. Plus all the upgraded weapons you can carry. Do not fight or it will end without starting the engine. Stay behind the window at the bottom location.
Prob tip if you want a specific item duplicated just sneak up on an enemy and place it in their inventory then kill them and do the gun duplication glitch
I can still use the Dogmeat duplication glitch. It doesn't work on heavy weapons, but is fine for almost everything else. In one playthrough, most of my provisioners are walking around with explosive combat rifles. I just have to be very careful when they are in a settlement.
These are some great things to try and use when I feel like exploiting the game! ...Did I just say “exploiting?” That’s not a very nice word. These are some great features! Yeah! Features!
The pick up exploit can be done using storage containers. It allows your companion to mass pick up a bunch of crap. Really good for mass selling. Also, the build limit glitch can be done by with junk as well I believe.
Companion unlimited carry weight-sometimes the item you dropped (then ask companion to pick up) will respawn on the same location, but only on its base version, eg. fully modified weapon will respawn non modified or heavy armor will respawn normal armor (at least in my experience). Also works with junk item.
13:32 there are small metal rectangular shaped baskets everywhere. For me those work the absolute best cuz they're transparent you can see through them.
I don't know if it still works, but in PC survival mode, if you quit to desktop, it saves your game. Great, we knew that. But if you load the game, and then quit again, it saves again. When you load the game a third time, if you die, you will go back to the point where you exited the game, not the last place you slept. This only happens for the first death, though. If you die again, you'll go back to the last place you slept. Also the Lone Wanderer perk + Dogmeat as a companion thing still works. So there's that.
With the “object use to climb up walls” exploit...you should hav explained that you can use that exploit to get the “free fall legs” than you can use the exploit + thoes legs to explore and not take fall damage
You are the real MVP uploading videos on Fallout 4 not Fallout 76, just a joke anyway, almost as bad as Fallout 2. 15:38 I was getting worried this glitch wouldn’t available anymore
The settlement build limit glitch was game changing for me! I got tired of mods making my game crash on Xbox one, and one thing that bugs me is that I can’t just decorate till my hearts content!
For free-ish ammo, visit with your settlers. Take their guns & all ammo. Give them back their gun (or a cheaper one), equip it, and give them only one bullet of that weapon's type. This will activate their own "unlimited ammo" glitch, leaving the rest of their ammo for you to either use or to sell for the ammo type you *do* need.

The best thing about your videos brother is the NON DLC considerations. Bravo. I'm a newb so this is amazing
hello brother of steel
@@TtEL HEY HEY! BOS!
The biggest glitch I have is my DLC disabling itself and then not enabling until I reinstall dlc
The 10 Number Exploit Also Works In Skyrim
It's to do with the engine they use, I think.
MessiahShepherd they use the same engine from morrowind so oh yeah yeah
@@raccoon225 this is why you need a good engine to make a game.
I use unreal.
I don't blame anyone who uses unity.
Far cry 5 used something unconventional but there really good game devs
Yes, it does.
But difference is that thiese items are marked stolen.
it works on many different bethesda games lol
I got lvl 268 (•~•)
"What did it cost"?
Scribes........
How
@@alizyadna7995 are you asking how to level up easy with scribes like he did?

Been playing this game for years and was surprised to see I didn't know 4 or so of these glitches! Great video! Thank you!
I’m playing fallout 4 rn so let’s do this
I love your videos puma! I watch your videos 10 times and they still entertain me!
The companion carryweight bypass also works if you put everything into a container and keep telling them to pick it up until they get everything
I seriously didn't know you did fallout 4 content. Used to watch your bl2 content and i am glad you make this too.
So does this still work? I’m on Xbox and I can’t get it to work. I’d be pretty surprised if they patched it this late so I’m just wondering
I remember one time a random synth had the alien blaster I have no clue how 😂
I'm pretty sure they've kept the companion storage glitch on purpose, like it's slow and tedious but it can benefit the player without breaking the game
I just got the home internet. I'm gonna use this vid right after I use your mods vids. thanks for the vid, I've been a fan for years.
just finished watching prison break s5 a while ago then decided i'd watch some FO4 vids. man, you sound like Whip. anyway, great vid!
My favorite one is the one where you craft something but quickly move up or down right as you click craft in order to craft with no materials.
How does it work exactly?
In my tries you do indeed need the perk requirements to make the item, otherwise it won't work
#9 is a game changer. I never thought of it and its so simple
Love your vids man. More like this please and thank you :-)

Once I gave Piper a minigun to kill the mirelurke queen.Long story short she wasted 750 rounds trying to kill a couple of hachlings
That's Piper for you.
She blind as a bat
Piper shoots at anything, at any range, regardless of cover. Deacon is almost as bad.
I've seen Piper unload around 100 rounds from a combat rifle into a wall. Because there was a supermutant inside a building that happened to walk near a window. I've also seen her use a missile launcher at melee range.
You haven’t seen bad until you give your companion a fat man during airship down
@@shaheerrashid4787 I gave a Fatman to Piper and Cait during the Minutemen vs BOS battle (With our powers combined?).
Best guide ever, thank you so much
If you have the contraptions dlc you can build the gunner cage instead of the a store for the scrap/store glitch.
Great explanations of everything. Thank you
Did you get the one where you scrap the armor store and get caps back to work?
I just started playing fallout 4 a month ago glad I found this video
Oscar Leon ps4?
Bloody_Joker12 Bloody joker yes
My phone is cracked I smashed the like button

I have it on ps4 and I love your vids. This will help me a lot!
5:24 actually you can still choose other modification even the upgradable item is not beside it...you just need some sick scroll speed but it works....i recommend increasing your mouse dpi to scroll faster
This video was for console specific since PC can easily just access mods or the dev command bar
Can you tell me why my codsworth is a protectron?
@@startedllama8238 did you mess around with the robot crafting station from automatron?
i haven't seen anything like that. his perk seems to be energy resist, nothing to do with scrapping shit.
besides, like the video says, you could just ignore that and do the dupe glitch anyway. no need to use codsworth as a companion even one second. hell, can do that glitch right after meeting codsworth.
10,8,7,5,4 are theven usefully glitches of this video thx
*Speech 100*
Nobody mentions the bug that happens when you use Gatling Laser and Power armor together?
When power armor runs put of a charge and you get a new fusion core, the gun bugs.
If you unequip and re-equip the gatling laser, you get a new fusion core of max charge no matter what ammo you had before, and your previous fusion core from the gun is deposited in your inventory.
The core just gets swapped with a new one, the core that was in the gun gets stored in your inventory, with the charge it had left
@@urnansflipflop7894 Yes. However the new core is generated out of thin air. Free fusion core.
Unless that was patched.
yes i get this glicth when i really need more core, now my problem is solved XD
Shut up
My favourite exploit is getting Dogmeat to pick up mines so I don't have to risk blowing myself up disarming them
Thanks man definitely going to try these out on my PS 4
That companion command to pick up something worked in Skyrim. I remember using it on the 360. One day after quite some time of being away from the game. I returned to find that everything that my companion had was labeled stolen. Bethesda just patched it to make it difficult.
I was expecting to see the one where dogmeat bypasses the master lock in vault 111 in order to steal the cryolator. They've "patched" that one several times, but it's still working in 2020.
2022 still works. You can use Cait to unlock master locks also.
For the climbing one you can also use the small trash cans, cones, shoppinh carts, etc.
Oh shit,he's back
You shoukd make a fallout 3 vid sometime soon, Puma
I agree
Agreed
Ok boomer
Dios No puedo creer que no se me ocurriera el glitch de la tienda en santuary, había echo mil veces el de duplicar chatarra y no pensé que sirviese para otra cosa cosa! Xd Nice Video!!
A brilliant vanilla exploit for my runs is make a character with at least 5 in luck, put 2 points in to "idiot savant"
Now, whenever you are about to hand in a quest, make a save and keep reloading that save until the perk procs.. giving you 5x total xp gained!
YES 👏👏 I knew about the learning curve glitch but not about the much simpler way.
2:10 maccready ada and robot companions will steal items and maccready always steals without getting caught
And that's why Maccready is the best.
Thankyou, these have been helpful iv been making the most of asking my friend to pick things up when they are full but iv been able to walk up walls yet
Dropping weapon mods drops that level faster because it's based on the amount of sprites or pixels each item is made of.
The companion storage bypass was imported from skyrim and never patched in any version of it.
You can use the weapons duplication glitch on settlers too, by giving them the weapon you want to dupe and then attacking them. I find duplicating junk to be much more valuable, especially if you want to do some building.
you forgot the fusion cell-danse trap exploit at the test launch where synths respawn infinitely for first.
Explain pls.
@@Lord_Phoenix95 thanks a lot ill do that in a new save.
Hey good job man. Great video 👍
Y'all wanna know what's sad I've still gotta Xbox 360 and I'm about to get a ps4 this weekend
Wow it's strange to say, but me too. I just got a PS4 last month and all I had before that was a PS2 and a Xbox 360.
I got a PS4 last month to and just started playing this for the first time lol
Bro bad timing since the next gen consoles are out. 😬
All and all vp, great vid. Thank you
Companion unlimited carry weight-sometimes the item you dropped (then ask companion to pick up) will respawn on the same location, but only on its base version, eg. fully modified weapon will respawn non modified or heavy armor will respawn normal armor (at least in my experience). Also works with junk item.
Thank you very much for this vid, helped a hell of lot
Rip duplication glitch 😭
They got rid of it? :(
No they didn't
Yes they did
I'm SOOOO PISSED!!!
No they didn’t
13:32 there are small metal rectangular shaped baskets everywhere. For me those work the absolute best cuz they're transparent you can see through them.
Your the reason Fallout is still alive.
The hero we needed.
The companion bypass is something i discovered just in natural gameplay and it became a favorite of mine
Every time I see you upload I instantly like 👍
With the “object use to climb up walls” exploit...you should hav explained that you can use that exploit to get the “free fall legs” than you can use the exploit + thoes legs to explore and not take fall damage
You are the real MVP uploading videos on Fallout 4 not Fallout 76, just a joke anyway, almost as bad as Fallout 2. 15:38 I was getting worried this glitch wouldn’t available anymore
Crime never pays but cheats always prosper.
