It is sold out on the GW online store, but if you can find it somewhere, that Deathwing box contains a good chunk of this army for a nice discount: 5 Knights, 10 Terminators, Belial and 2 Upgrade sprues.
There is something wrong with a faction, if in order to make it feel like a faction , you have to take specials. And the fact that DA right now are either a space marine army with azrael or space marine tanks with azrael+dark shroud. Everything DA like other characters , units both exclusive DA one and the DW termis are worse then regular marines terminators.
I enjoyed your video, thank you. I'm extremely disappointed in the codex supplement and downright insulted at GW's nerfs to the Lion (I maintain he was fine as he was - suitably powerful and only in need of a slight points reduction). But I still got all the new stuff because I'm loyal to my chapter and as we all know "Loyalty is its own reward". The only thing I think you missed is Asmodai who got a very sexy new miniature this time around. Sure he sucks but if we're going for fluff, you can't ignore everyone's favorite SM meme ! Ravenwing stuff looks workable but I'm not buying anything new there - so much of that company got moved to legends and you just know they are going to update that whole range for 11th edition ( likely in its own Assault box like the Deathwing - especially since that sold so well too), so save your money is what I think on the Ravenwing front. I expect Ezekiel to come then with a new plastic Sam as well.
A completely different aproach on building a DA army then I would. For me no named characters and being either 100% deathwing or ravenwing. Otherwise I might just paint my ultrasmurfs green. Then again, my DA will never happen, for what little a space marine player I am, I'll put it in Iron Hands...

The Codex was SHIT (ie copy/pasted lore that now doesn't make sense after they dropped models from the range, the points are just absolute wack, the rules are crap)... however, DA are just cool, and so I'd rather have an army where I love the models!
Just mean that it blends in with the lore or overall theme of the army. Like information in the black library books or codex to help give an army their “personality”, and by “fluffy” we just mean it matches that 😁

If we could just play with the original 10th dw knight data sheet and the original 10th lion data sheet and everything that went legends that wasnt good but fluffy at the start of 10th.... dark angels would be awesome. And thats why it'll remain the pile of shit that it became. Alright i gotta go finish painting dark angels, see ya later. Forgot to say inner circle companions are 25 points over costed for 3 but awesome models.
Deepstriking turn 1 costs 30 extra points . So 265. And there the dame as assault terminators except tje7 have -1 dam and hits on 2s. Oh buy regular assault also have str 8 and 2ap... So... trash
I refuse to buy the new terminators + upgrade bits. A box of terminators + 21 pounds to get 1 sergeant model and a plasma cannon? Nope. Thanks. (says the guy with 70 old terminators at home). Honestly the DA are in a bad spot at this point. The refresh has some good characters, the companions are cool (a bit boring armor though since they would be much more interesting referencing some HH armors and not being just plain primaris again, but well... GW can't be bothered doing really new SM designs instead of re-using primaris sculpts as base). The knights are fine, not fantastic, but fine. Upgrade kit is a joke if you want to use it for Ravening or Deathwing as you get only bits for 1!! model - not the whole unit (I'm not counting those Ravening wing symbols for the sides of the bike as Ravenwing models without the flag...). Ravenwing looks horrible combining firstborn and primaris, going firstborn you end up with with mostly legends so I would avoid it completely. And let's not talk about the disaster the codex has been. The DA list have now as much fluff as playing Ultramarines in the first place.
As an Australian I would leave a more deep and insightful comment, but its been delayed

Yeah really hope that ravenwing get some refresh down the line, need to get rid of the finecast stuff!
Definitely hoping that the bike side of things get refreshed next edition, that finecast has got to go, and the Ravenwing is too cool to squat

Yeah it was really hard to decide what avenue to lean into. But in the end just had to try and represent every aspect 🪽🪽
this is a lot of what i run as a fluffy dark angels player . not really competitive vut a lot of fun with Friends and at a friendly level
