Goose Hunting In a Wheatfield | Snow Goose Hunting 2024

Matt is out with some buddies in a growing wheat field for a goose hunt. Snow geese were in it the day before. They set up a windsock spread hoping to decoy some geese. The geese didn't cooperate fully but enough did and it was still a good day of hunting.

Ever watched Canadian hunting show, “Hired to hunt?” Exceptionally good show on snow geese. Donut or horseshoe shaped decoy pattern tells the geese in sky geese are foraging from the centre of ground outwardly. They alighted right into the hole. You probably know that.

In New Mexico the snow geese stay till march and than start leaving. Our conservation season is pretty long.
