I am doing a research and about to use this equipment. The problem is I never use it before. So it is helpful for me if you willing to share the result of the test shown in this video for my reference. Thank you.
It is a great tutorial. I will have a sample that is a magnetic bead conjugated with epoxy group. Can you make a tour to prepare sample for FTIR testing? Thank you
hi, sir, it is a nice video .first for example for composite material if I want the diameter of the specimen is 20 mm and the diameter of the die is 25 mm can I machine the resulting specimen or I must use another die with 20 mm diameter? secondly how many grams of powder I used? is it depends on the size of the die or the standard of material which used in the specified test?
@@chemfunman thanks sir is there reduction in spesimen height after compact comparing to height of powder in die before compact process? and is the fully filling die with powder prefered or not ?
Thank you so much - this was very helpful. Please, can you share a detailed guide on using the Perkin Elmer IRES Software?
Your english is very clear tks.

Mind blowing
Great! Glad you like it :-)
Very good video
Thank you 😊!
Nice video! Can you please tell me what is the model number of your FTIR Spectrosmeter?
Please make a video on liquid sample preparation for FTIR
I have , in fact. Can you find it please? in the same playlist.
@@chemfunman thanks for response.I will definitely try to find it
Thank you so much 😊 😊
you are most welcome!
thank you very much.
this video really helpful.
Most welcome!
THANKU
Hi! amazing video! I wonder if it is the same methodology for liquid samples?
it is in the same playlist!
great

yes, no need to measure the amount, have to go via experience, give it a try? this is dependent on the solid (if it containts metal or not) as well

good job thanks!!
+Ernie Lee most welcome!
May I ask why you are using chloroform for the cleaning part? Is there a specific reason for ?
it is anhydrous, does not dissolve the disc.
thank you very much! please subscribe and share this video with your friends!
Do you use purging gas in your FT-IR spectrometer?
can do
What is KBr?
Do you know the periodic table 🤞?
Hi. Thank you for this :)
I can definitely use ethanol to replace chloroform right? TQ
Sure, acetone is fine as well. willkommen
what is tms?
+Chelsy K at which time frame?
+FunMan Fung at 4:45
Chelsy K
tire monitor system, the same one used to measure pressure of the wheels
Why we must make this process and not just measuring the absorbance of our sample without making a disc?
