Cheptegei only did one 10k race breaking the olimpic record, but couldn't recover his energy for onother race. He was too exhausted. Faith Kipyegon did 5K where she won silver. She testified that she was too exhausted to run her special 1500m. On her own account she said it took a miracle that she won
