The same happened to me a couple of years ago but I didn't see it happen. One of the neighbours saw it travelling backwards down the road with no driver in it, it freaked her out. If I'm driving a manual transmissioned vehicle (my own car or any other vehicle), I always pull up the handbrake as far as it will go and i also park it in 1st or 2nd gear, saves on embarrassing little mishaps like this.
He can’t even set @ handbrake. The same type of thing was video in Newcastle when the police vehicle rolled back with no one in and hit a parked taxi, at first they denied it and had to change there lie when it was shown on UA-cam. They are all taught to lie.
I personally think that he wanted to harm you by threatening to cut off your supply. I wouldn't have warned him because he doesn't deserve it. I've seen many people who are basically Parasitic and exploited others less well off just to fill their own selfish lives. They wouldn't have helped you if it was your mistake.
