I played a guy who kept trying something like this.,.. I wiped the floor with him game after game. We were at a coffee shop. The coffee was good. He was nice~ always had a smile. His name was Nick.
1:18 I don't think I would have gone for an early trade like that without reason. You should think of your pieces as later value, not EARLY value, unless there is a positional benefit for a checkmate. A lot of "wild games" play on trading pieces for fun; you have to control yourself, and know that the heart of the game will be in the middle and the end.
2:05 yeah, again... white is so excited to snap up pieces. The advantage they had from the Black Opponent's "wild moves" was ruined with rushing to trade pieces without getting anything in return. oh well.
I admire Nick's devotion to his favorite "defense., but you mopping the floor against this junk defense is probably a much more common result than the one in this game. Good thing for him at least the coffee was decent!
Hi Mato, Happy new year. Why have you flipped the board around? It's good to see the game from the dark side. A bit like those maps of the world that have the southern hemisphere at the top of the page
Black should not have won that game. However given white captured both of the weak knights, opening the B and G files for the black rooks he should not have castled
Mato was the first chess UA-camr I started watching, now it is years later and I am making chess videos myself! Thank you for all of your work, Mato!
BRAVO and Happy New Year 2023 !
I’m stunned, yet delighted, especially seeing the end of those pesky knights so early on. Must try this “ heart attack “ gambit 😊
Great 👍
That's a spectacular game indeed!
Very cool game!
Brilliant video, Mato!!!
Wow!! What a phantastic game.
Beatiful!
What a game! What a win!
This one is unbelievable .
Amazing
I only want to see that game which opens your eyes completely which normaly remain closed😄😄😄😄
I really enjoyed this one, thanks, Mato!
White played right into what black wanted by taking the weak knights.
That was pure genius.
Awesome 😎
Wow !
Great game 🤩

I agree, the bishop pair was more valuable than the knight pair.
Wow.....
Black Adams defense?
MJ? That's one slick moonwalk opening with 1. ...Nh6.
Well played MJ - whomever you are…

Wow
You have a nice smile.
