I would like to see a video of you doing the prep work for these styles. Like the crimping especially. It never looks crimped at the end, but I feel it is important to the style but I don't know why. I see it in every video almost but it looks like maybe it's only partially crimped?
That was awesome! I loved it ! I did it on my mom for her official wedding and everybody was complementing her! But I needed to straighten her hair and find the potato volumizer thingy. Could you make a few other curly haired styles? My cousin's prom is up and she wants me to do her hair but she has curly hair. Could you please help?

I think it's so the back part of the ponytail can sit the way it does while also making the top more stable and give a tiny bit of extra height. It also looks as if that's where the Bobby pins go so it's more stabilized versus just pinning it to the scalp might make it move a lot. I don't do hair but that's what it looks like to me anyway lol hope that helps.
