I discovered who you were through another channel where the woman has copied your ideas. As soon as I watched her channel. I began to do a search of your name, which led to your channel. I love how you can allow ideas to flow unrestricted, and so playful. I wonder how you feel about people all over the world taking your ideas and copying them. I've visited the current McKenzie-Childs online site and although the basic ideas are copied, there's something missing. They are almost, dare I say, mere copies and not the expressions of you that your original work was. I don't know why, but I suppose it's like looking at an original Monet and then seeing a print. It's just not the same. As a creator who is "artless", does that bother you to have them copying everything, but getting it somehow "off"? I have my own form of creativity, and I wonder how I would feel if I found myself in your place. I hope I'd be as gracious as you are.
Thank you for continuing the series. It answers so many questions, even while creating more.
    You are loved!

Dear Miss Sunny, we are starting to have a discussion soon, on Patreon between Frederik and me ( he is our partner in this channel). I’m starting to gather. Moments which would take a deeper discussion than what would work easily in comments. I love your question. I think I should answer it in a visit with Frederik for Patreon. I’m not sure if you know what Patreon is. We see it more of a place where one can get an MFA ( Masters in Fine Artlessness). Folks donate a little or a lot, as they feel they believe in on a monthly agreement which can stop at any time. It is a wonderful way to become a part of this great movement in thought. I hope you can come aboard. You would love the richness of the sharing there. Thank you so much for your question. It gives me much to think on.

      Dearest Miss Sunny,
Your comment requires a long walk in the forest together, I think, and then a sit by a fire we would make to keep warm whilst still discussing through the wee hours, and flapjacks in the morning whilst even more and more of our walk through thought would continue into the rising sun and brisk air from which to draw in more inspiration.
You know, I have so much to say that I don’t know where to start. I wonder if a video visit would be helpful for all of us, eh?
I tell you what, I shall write it down and if I don’t find the best way to tell you about it within a few months, will you comment back? I think we can all benefit by a wholesome conversation.
You know, I have a better idea. On Patreon, a format for visiting together, I could choose it as a topic for discussion. That might be the kindest way, and, most liberating way to discuss the whole idea, eh?
We are due for a zoom chat on Patreon. Maybe in July, we shall have one and that will be discussed with the “Precious Patreons “ (that’s my new name for the Patreons. Do you know I sent them a video today and after the video that name came to me. It was always so awkward to call them the Patreon Patrons … I kep slipping and saying “patriots”😬!
I know now what the topic will be. Thank you for brining up the need.
      Ever fondly, Victoria

Victoria- How is it that 20 odd years ago you created that ball that is so representative of the world today? So many scraps would have been cast away, but you crafted an inclusive "world" represented in the ball. Plaids and polka-dots side by side? Outlandish! Ridiculous! Awesome! Sublime! Catalyst! The world shrinking and its peoples' understanding of one another expanding at the same time.... Harmony from dissonance. All foretold in the ball.
My best to you- Proud patron and friend-Uncle Robert

Usually I wear it with 3/4 or short sleeves, but it was a little chilly in the morn so I wore a long-sleeved blouse, and I thought other necklace should have been hiked up a bit. I recall we were staying with a friend who doeasnt really like a lot of mirrors round so I didn’t even stop to check proportions. Also, I hardly ever do. Ant blame our friend. I just comb my hair and go until I fall into bed, either with my clothes on or night clothes if I am going to be wrinkled in the morn! Glad you liked it and didn’t think of all my reasons why I didn’t that day😄

This is one of my favorite videos you've made!! I LOVE the Bible pages used on the walls...simply beautiful!!! And what a sweet reminder that God is surrounding us at all times!! When I was young, I can so hear my mother saying that stripes and polka dots don't go together, and stripes and floral can't be paired either. You have incredibly broken all those old rules in such a gloriously beautiful way!! I have a tiny channel where I love to take thrifted things and give them an MC makeover in a very simplistic way. I am NO artist or fantastic creator. But since I have found out about you and your channel, I have told everyone who watches to come here and like and subscribe. I have to store most of my heavy cement each fall or our severe winters make it crumble eventually. That home is magical I love all its twists and turns and magical elements. And, yes, adding one’s own flourishes is most important to a living place. I am going to speak about this in more depth again in Patreon with Frederik, who, along with Leonardo, another Boat-Boy emeritus, do the editing for the channel . It is very important to make history always moving, eh? Adding one’s own flourish is key to the fact that that there is room in a dwelling to express more, and that the harmonizing element, is the action of Life and Love together, ongoing. Stagnation is the worst thing, which can suffer a sense of home.

Because on Patreon, for the Patrons, we were going to start soon to have a conversation about every week or so where the Patrons could play it and hear deeper thoughts on all kinds of subjects. I think this idea of the creative block might be a perfect beginning to our talks.
I don’t think you know about Patreon, do you? I would want you to consider joining in, for, I feel you are just right for listening to all kinds of subjects. You can join for only as much as you feel is right and you can stop whenever you like.

Oh, Elaine, I would love to do that some day. For now, I am seeing, in a way, UA-cam & Patreon as a means for sharing, it perhaps some day. A book is a huge effort for me, whilst just the easy freshness (though lots of work and time) UA-cam and Patreon are a joy to make and to share. Hope you can wait for the written word a little / lot? Longer😬

@Victoria MacKenzie-Childs I see where your coming from, it would take up lots of your time, sometimes off the cuff is more spontaneous, best wishes to you and Richard from Scotland xx

    • @victoriamackenzie-childs7215
      @victoriamackenzie-childs7215  2 роки тому

Elaine! Are you a native of Scotland? I am second generation American, both parents are first generation American and so we are very close feeling to Scotland. Our grandparents immigrated through Canada. We are very close in our feelings towards the mother country. We have only one Channel Mammal from The isles, from Wales, actually. She is also a Patreon. I just sent a gift to her the other day, for all the patrons recieved this gift. It wasn’t as expensive as I thought it would be to ship. $17, but one is in Germany & it was $25, but I had to stop when it came to The one from Australia, $73!!!
So if you ever want to be a patron through Patreon, you are welcome. Just don’t encourage all your Australian friends to join😬. The post man thought it might have to do with the tyranny in Australia. Anything to shut down their people … that seems to be the belief, anyway.
And thanks for understanding the wonderful spontaneity which comes through this format of UA-cam, as compared with the laborious route through writing. I hope others might also find that they are either watching a true documentary of sorts or a “virtual” book, and can be glad for how it seems to be unfolding itself to use in the here and now. But I shall never say never. Some day I may be forced into a quiet time, which can be enlivened with the pen.
Ahoy, AND -Frae Bonnie Scotland ! !

Oh Victoria, this beautiful video is stuffed with symbolism ! I will just mention about the Swedish Bible. You proclaim aloud that you are a child of God… you found His “ truth, fallen in the street “ Isaiah 59:14. You lifted it up, brought it home and put it where everyone can see it… “ My word will not return unto Me void , but will accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it “. Isaiah 55:11. ❤️. We could go on about winged angels and those winged chairs that go perfectly with the wallpaper…. ! You are so right about people being rigid in their beliefs…… they are rigid, too, in their beliefs about God. Jesus showed up what God is like… God is L❤️VE …. “ Love is patient, love is kind …. “ 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8.

Amy, another great topic for discussion on our new series (thinking of it now as once a week, an educational conversation with Frederik, our Partner … rarely seen (only shows up in our very first video.) Now we are going to do a talking discussion called The MFA (Masters of Fine Artlessness) where we pick up on questions too heavy, or too lengthy for a comment response. We are hoping to do our first one this week!
I’m signing up you question just for that list of discussion points. Thanks so much! Keep the queries coming, eh?
