One of my fav drumbeats, basslines, and breakdowns...all in the same song!
First song i heard by them was Higher in 2019 during mid release of Sundowning, and man when i say i didn’t know what i was getting myself into then by the end completely being obsessed .. and now after 4 years the love has only grown immensely and to finally get the pay off of being a fan and hearing Take Me Back to Eden, shit is what i can only call a religious experience lmao. Love that you’re taking this journey dude🤘🏽

This is one of my favourite Sleep Token song. It´s quite underrated imho and I´m super glad you reacted to this one :D BTW, their drummer is originally a death core drummer and is absolute top tier!
Geesh, I just realized that the part where the lyrics go “ you need the melody, I only need the silence”…he sings silence in a melody. Always a reason for the way he sings certain words man.

Can't believe you listened to the whole of TMBTE without realising the drummer is a utter animal, and he also Co produced all their albums with vessel, ii deserves so much more credit than he receives as he is the back bone of all their songs essentially.
I mentioned the drummer in TMBTE lol. His playing is just feels more complex on this album Im still new to Sleep Token
@@xRAGECXRCUSx I feel his drumming on the older albums is much more expressive and technical than on TMBTE just my opinion and definitely not hating on it.
@@stevecuthbert5150 for sure! I happened to notice that he was pretty reserved on TMBTE compared to this album during The Offering I believe. Dude is a whole vibe himself lol
He pulled back a little on the newest album I feel which isn't a bad thing.

the drummer is a beast trully!!!! Higher has been one of my top favorite song from sleep token partly because the drum part lol. can't wait to watch you listen to Gods and TPWBYT. Because ii (the drummer) posted like 3 drum playthrough for 3 songs from TPWBYT, hoping you'd watch it when the time comes (be it on or off camera)

Out of curiosity, have you listened to This Place Will Become Your Tomb album by Sleep Token? It was the inbetween album in this trilogy. Many find it to be not as good as either Sundowning or TMBTE but I like it a lot. There are some songs that just don't do it for me but are still well crafted. I would love to see you journey through that album as well if you have not listened to it before.
My guy, ill be doing ALL albums 🙌🙌🙌 did this one first because it was voted for lol TPWBYT is next!
