I was given an Ember Mug a year ago and it has sat in its box for as long as I've had it (new technology tends to make this old lady balk). Tonight, after using up my entire vocabulary of curse words, I've decided that I'm sick and tired of tepid tea and pulled the Ember Mug from the closet. After a somewhat lackluster, "Oh! Stickers." my eyes attempted to focus enough to read the enclosed instruction booklet, but it seems they're on the same slippery slope of aging as the rest of my body, so I sought out video instructions. Voila! Your video came up and I'm so happy it did. Very helpful and informative. Thank you so much.
I love the Ember Mug AFTER it was set up. You need to print the directions out for people who are not computer savvy. My son-in-law had to set it up to start but, I needed help again I today. Luckily, my husband was here to pull up your instructions..
Got it on sale for 100. Still a bit steep but my wife takes a long time to drink her coffee/tea. It doesn’t take me long to finish my drink so I didn’t need it.

When the mug is on the charger, does the mug need to be turned on?
I'm here because I got one for Christmas. I've read the instructions several times and thought I understood, but when I tested it, it didn't work.
on the next mug (if they will make) they should make it powered by usb c pd
