Rachel, pls take care of yourself. You are a beautiful person and mean so much to so many people. We all love you. BTW, truly love your chickens and being a city girl and seeing one hatch for the first time is amazing. So exciting. Thx much. 13:17 🎉

It looks (and sounds) like Easter! My grandfather got us chicks and baby ducks for Easter one year.

My first set of kittens(over 12 years ago) were born around Sunday Easter 🎗️ morning: to my late cat Kenzie. My God mother(who passed 3 years ago) was in awe when she saw me running from my bedroom to hers with this "Jubilant" look of Absolute Joy on my face as I came in.
She asked me," what got you so excited today?" with a smug look on her face. Cause I always wake up making her ☕ and that day she gracefully passed up as soon as she seen what's was inside the 📦 box,and lowe and behold 7 tiny kittens meowing their faces off 😂. And she was in tears 😭 cause she has not seen kittens since her older cat Bella(BellaBoo or I call her Belladonna, she always has a stank attitude towards me) but anyways..
She loved every single minute she had with the fur-babies. She asked "who were they?" I stated they belong to Kenzie and she's in there hollering her face off wondering where are little rascals(they were born in 2013)..anyways I wanted to share that memory with the community here..
Cherish the time you have your family and loved ones 😊 💜

So RACHEL, I STRONGLY INSISTS on a MANNY live or recorded VIDEO in the NEAR FUTURE. Whenever you can fit this in I would love it and I am sure many others will also. No pressure lol. Have you thought about a name for chicken buisness? Could Senza Tempo Chickens work? THANK YOU FOR UPLOAD. They are adorable. Kubo talking in background made me giggle. My dog is so spoiled that if I talk on phone or someone comes and talks with me he starts to howl/grumble his way into the converstaion. What would we be without animals.

Great idea to raise endangered birds!!! I had a property that had engaged plants and the IL government classified it as a Nature Preserve. I was able to keep salable products .

Our Easter edgers didn’t have feathered feet and the different colors was fun. Our hens were really friendly and would eat out of our hands. We tried to handle them often when they were chicks.

  • @ladycarmelcarter-dillard280

Rachel do you remember when you all were living at the trailer and you had the baby chick's in the living room and Preacher was so fascinated by them? It seemed like he was protective over them when the other dogs got to close🥰

RACHEL! My boyfriend has the EXACT issue that you have, twisted pelvis and he messed his back up with a previous job… he went to multiple chiropractors and clinics and the only thing that helped was going to the gym. 2 weeks into the gym and his pain is gone, we haven’t used a heating pad, gone to the chiro, or used any more topical treatments. Light cardio and light weight training helped SO MUCH.
We go 3 times a week for an hour and a half at a time. We usually go at 11 pm because there’s no one at our gym and it’s less nerve wracking. You and Savannah could go if you have any gym anxiety… me and my mother used to go together for that reason and it really helps ease any gym anxiety.

I’m here for it! Lay it on me 😂.Oooo the ones who already have tail feathers are likely pullets, for some reason I can’t remember pullets grow their tail feathers 🪶 before the roo’s. Also the Brahma Easter egger may lay olive eggs, if her mom is a blue laying hen, the added brown from dad will produce a chicken that lays olive eggs. I don’t understand it but that’s the science. Also have you seen the Sebastopol geese? They’re so pretty with the curly feathers. Hidden Heights Farm just hatched 🐣 out a bunch of goslings, and are looking to rehome some as they already have 9.

They're pretty but they're way too loud... She already has a noise problem with the dogs barking don't want to add the geese honking 📢

Actually she wouldn’t get a noise complaint as these geese are "Threatened" endangered so it would go to conserving the breed.

Yes, the Livestock Conservancy! They list the different breeds for each livestock species and how critical their population numbers are. And it’s dirt cheap to become a member.

I’ve got herniated disks, arthritis and degenerative spine therefore a lot of pain. I went to a chiropractor for a number of years and when the back issues started I found I was worse after my visits so I stopped. Just be careful and listen to what your body tells you.

It’s good to hear all the chicks are alive! Good luck with these ducks and geese. Hopefully you can get your property of a wildlife place as well. Also praying that your back feel better. The chiropractor will help a lot for sure. Thanks for the upload.

One thing I have come to realize about my back and neck issues is when you go to chiro and or massage be prepared for the pain to increase before it gets better. They get in there and agrivate it and your body yells at you for it. Also one visit usually leads to more.

So cute! I'm dirty to hear about back pain and blah you've got chiro and personal trainer on it. I did the same thing a few years ago after my health seemingly shifted overnight when I turned forty. Gotta be a bit less negligent about my own health in order to do right by and help those I love. You got this. Thanks for sharing the journey.

Those chicks turned out pretty healthy for you have not to lost any... But while we're on the subject of going to the doctor. May I suggest that you go to a ear nose and throat doctor. An ENT doctor can make a big difference. It can be so many things besides allergies.
