I've never really been the biggest fan of mixing up tiles, but if each tile represents a playing card including joker, you can just. Leave them face up in the box, and use a deck of playing cards for your hand instead.
@Danielle Anderson You just sort the face up tiles once in the beginning, and then tiles can be found easily. But I would also prefer to just use a bag to shuffle the tiles.
How does placing a tile next to a red start square work? Because you’re not allowed to cover a red start square with an existing section, does that mean that if you have an existing section on the tile next to one that it puts that red start square out of commission for the rest of the game?
Will you do PokerKub next? I have many Kub games by Pressman and these videos make it even easier to understand the game as well as reading the instructions.
No. 50. Star Trek ascendency, how to play Wow, 50 times I requested this game! lets see if I can make it to 100! (Btw, I do watch every video i post this on)
@@ternarycode I guess it can. Whilst I personally wouldn't attribute the concept of straights and melds to a specific card game, I can see why one would do so.
They are the start squares, you may only start a new sequence on the start squares or connect your tiles to an existing sequence. Maybe you didn't heard this part properly: 1:37

Just put the tiles in a bag. Shake the bag to shuffle.

This looks neat, though I imagine it’ll get messy like Scrabble if you nudge the board too much.
It's Rummy Scrabble.
haha lol
Wanted to say the same
Let’s get ready to Rumble!

@@dieselboy.7637 Cheer up.
Following the Chess variant arc we head to the Rummikub arc
I never heard of this game, until I saw it randomly in an episode of Cheers.
Interesting variation of Scrabble.

I'd love to have CatanKub or CenturyKub
You guys left out the 100 point "gin" bonus. The player who puts down the tenth tile on a group that started on a target gets 100 additional points.
can you play this with a regular deck of playing cards?
too few cards, i think
hi ... what are the dimensions of the tile pieces... thank you

Scrabble: Rummikub Edition
0:08 Wow, looks kind of like mahjong.
I'd rather play Mahjong though lmao
I’m curious how long a “How to play Riichi Mahjong” video would be. 15 - 20 minutes?
Nice!
omg rummikub+poker+scrabble
Poker Scrabble
the name just reminds me of ginny weasley
This is just Rummikub but the board is a Scrabble board
If Scrabble and Rummy made a collab
What about these black dots on red squares?

Wait, no 50 point bonus for a "bingo" (using all seven tiles in one play)? Super weak :(
