If Davante was the first wr I had ever seen I'd think football must be too easy a sport to be legit. DA's not just good...his routes are super human good. Can't defend this man.
The beautiful part is the on-field dominance is only half of his game tho. He's mastered all the nuances. His "football IQ" is genius level. He reads pre-snap coverages and makes the correct adjustments better than most QB's do. I've seen every snap he's taken as a Packer and he's been a real pleasure to watch grow into the player he is now. Plus he lives his life respectfully and he is as nice a person you'll ever meet. He's a special person.

Nice off the line of scrimmage separation in small spaces is insane while locating the roc.
My man route running brazy but a lot of these joints are damn good ball placement too. Arod and DA was one of the best duos in nfl history imo

Is it just me or is his style and body movements look like a modern day jerry rice. Davante just does so many things great as a wr i still think hes the best in the game rn. Remember how bad the Raiders look Randy Moss look?! Niners need to be looking to trade deebo for this man! Straight 1 for 1! Route running is not smooth...LOL I love when people say that...🤣🤣🤣 Route running is very sudden quick and almost has a jerky quality to it at its best form. A better word to use would be natural as it's just second nature with change of direction for the person. Smooth is a way to describe technique for dbs not wrs🤦♂️ Route runners are pgs on turf I have always said that.
