I honestly love this. When I was young and a growing inspiring artist I watched Moriah a lot. Her videos gave me inspiration, and were always so fun to watch! Now that im older, I watch YOUR content because they’re so fun to watch, and give me LOADS of motivation. So it’s kinda like two parts of my life meeting to form one beautiful piece.

Ive been watching Moriah since I was a kid and I found your videos around last year! you've become such an inspiration for me and I've learned so much about gouache and watercolor and developing my own style from you! It's so cool to see some of my favorite artists collab in this book!

Realism doesn't mean your style isn't there! I think we're taught it should be lifeless but in reality realism is a depiction of what artists see when they look at a subject and what they focus in on.
You did not fail at all. The art was absolutely beautiful. The optical illusion really looks like the corner is folded. You and Moriah are some of my favourite artists, and I’m so happy to see both of you in some form in the same video.
I'm really hoping a long form video comes out soon. I've been excitedly following this huge art collab and knowing you're part of it makes me too excited!!!

Adding your "failed" attempts is SO cool! I would just stop at the first attempt and try to fix it and fix it and fix it. What is not good for mental health and paper. The way u just started from scratch is already amazing for me, but adding them in the book. Wow. Amazing.

i feel like moriah's idea of realism would be incorporating some sort of interesting textures into the drawings like fuzz on a pom pom or just drawing a very realistic looking slice of cake.

I love how you have made an impressive career out of your artistic skill and yet you are still humble enough to share your struggles and "fails." So many people don't realize that in art, the learning (combined with all its associated flops) is part of the process and is to be expected... welcomed even! It's always much harder to draw non natural things in realism in my experience, something about the texture and the "perfect" shapes of things like plastic is so hard to put on paper

NO WAY!!!! I've been watching ME since I was no less than 5 years old. I still watch her videos to this day, I just can't believe she's doing such big projects nowadays. It makes me so happy and proud. I'm so happy she's linking over to my other favorite youtube artists.
