Just me or did you all get pissed every time those idiots screamed because they were hearing infected? I'm surprised my eyeballs haven't rolled to the back of my skull and I'm only 30 mins in. Besides that, so far good movie! After watching the whole thing. Man the last bit makes me angry. Can't say I'm upset with how it all turned out in the end though.
A lot of people don't seem to understand depth and the art of telling a story where not everything is clearly explained or going "BOOM" all the time. A lot of the actions or lackthereof of the characters puzzled me and infuriated me. That provocation means the storytellers did a good job. Evie did a lot of things wrong, but she also waited out of loyalty just to find out her husband is barely a man. When they get attacked, instead of protecting her he tries to shoot himself in the head first. Let her get dragged off and raped and instead of doing what he did too late he crawled around in the dirt and cried like a baby. Then his "redemption" is leaving her behind when the zombies are coming. Not a man at all, but a more realistic portrait of the plague of modern society where men aren't really the protective, loving men they should be, but snowflake crybabies with the women having more stones than them. This is less about zombies and more a frighteningly realistic picture of how watered down and weak the majority of people are. Have the power go out for a day. Iphones and social media turned off. People won't know what to do, how to build a fire, how to change a tire even. I've seen it myself with the threat of hurricanes where I live. People panic and turn into absolute idiots. Again, this movie seems like the intentions were less of a zombie thriller and more of a nod to social commentary. Another point to mention is true storytelling doesn't just give everything away. It leaves things to the imagination and THAT is more often better than anything they could have created to show on screen. It plays into the fear of the unknown and is something rare, but should happen more. I appreciated that aspect of the film. We didn't need to see Evie's rape to understand the emotional and physical pain, as well as the mental anguish of not even having her husband step up to save her. We didn't need to see the zombie in the back of the car. What I imagined was likely far more grotesque than what they would have shown. Overall, not a huge fan of the weak characters and outcome as I like things a bit differently, a bit more optimistic, but it was a well done storyline with the protagonists being unique and not exactly well liked.
At 16:00 in I know I'd let them have the car and the gun and all the supplies and still have 1000x's better chance of survival by getting rid of the screaming lady.
In the end the Woman makes John a Bait to the Zombies for her to survive, she can walk , while John is asking her to stand up she doesn't want to stand, but when she shot John on his knee and John Can't walk , and she just keeps on going on her own ways till she survives and on her way there she heard the Helicopter, maybe that;s the rescue, if only she stands up and walk with John, John might have been alive with her, I pity John . I find her act selfless in the end.
Whether intentional or not, this story could fit with many stories of human nature, not just zombie films. John, a mild mannered university professor, had to be brought to the lowest place a man can get to become what Evie needed him to be. But he couldn't keep it. He was weak. Charlie was a man. Not a good man of course. Not what Evie needed or wanted. For the entirety of humanity, this story has played out more times than you might imagine. Lust. A human emotion that has been the destroyer of kings. Deceit. False witness. Covetousness. Dishonorable intentions. This film, Plague, has all the elements of good and evil human nature. There's room for pity and admiration for the characters. Well written and acted.
I can never figure out why cars are always in short supply and breaking down in a zombie apocalypse. If you didn't own one to begin with Go to a car lot and take your pick.
Depends on how long after the collapse. Gas turns to gummy goop if it's left in a gas tank too long (around 3 months, IIRC). If a car sits unused too long (like a year or so without being started), its gaskets and seals go bad. I have the opposite POV: I find it weird that in a lot of post-apocalypse movies people are still chugging around in cars with lots of guns and ammo years after there would be no more gas or bullets to be had. :)
Best thing to do is get on a boat or houseboat and go to an island, east coast or west, which of course always has less people which means less zombies. Zombies are still human; needing to feed to survive...that's why I like "28 days" they start dying out because they couldn't find humans or animals to feed on.
And we know this because movies and other programming engineering tells us so??? This is how They want us to think... how do we really know what would happen in "an apocalyptic situation???" Have we ever faced one ever in human history??? Maybe, just maybe, those who we think would be selfish loser pieces of crap would step up and do the things most of us cannot because of how rigid and strict social and governmental laws are in our wonderful society... I know that if social and governmental laws were dissolved I would be free to do all the things I cannot do today... and I would be free to be the person I know I am... Its ridiculousness just to make a "stronger than man" woman movie... dime a dozen in The New Normal of the The Age...
No need for an apocalyptic situation, because they are almost always more dangerous. I trust most wildlife more than humans. For those of you who think I am cynical, I think _you_ need to read more history, biographies, and psychology.
That was kinda the point of the Romero films. The zombies were a threat that could be easily handled with some intelligence and cooperation, but humans would rather argue and divide.

Got to love people in zombie world where there's got to be millions of solid vehicles abandoned everywhere driving around in a crap car with a cracked radiator.
That stupid girl really was annoying me along the film! Just crying and doing nothing , it's zombie time, hey, just do something, wake up. But in the end it was a surprise, she couldn't stand and go with a bullet wound in the shoulder lying on the ground but then, ups, made a clear shot to punish her boyfriend. By the way, she could kill Charlie on her own then instead of crying. The film is great, anyway thanks!
Typical self centered woman. It's my way or no way. She wanted him to step up but when he did she turned her back on him. Do you expect him to fight 6 zombies with only 3 shots left. There was no choice but to run. Everyone acts like a hero when they arent in the situation.

I love this kind of indie film. It's too bad both the leads were dismal and stupid. The ending was both infuriating and cool at the same time. She wouldn't get up? She was incoherent as the boyfriend tried over and over to get her up. She wouldn't move. So, he leaves her there? Why not put her in the car at least? Then when he walks away, she becomes coherent enough to get up and shoot him, then talk and walk away like she's recovering? It's hard to write an ending...but boy those two leads were annoying characters.
Lol, i'm glad i didnt pay for this. While certainly not the worst zombie movie i've seen. This hardly qualified as zombie-horror. It's more of a soy-boy horror show. Plot follows Soy-boy with glasses and asthma cant deal with real life outside a campus Mr. StealYoGirl shows up and steals soy-boys' girl Cucking ensues The End
A small group of survivors in post-apocalyptic Australia seek shelter from an infection that has spread like a plague among the human populace. Evie (Tegan Crowley) and her fellow survivors become separated from her husband John (Scott Marcus). Evie refuses to leave John behind against the wishes of the group. The survivors revolt and abandon Evie to an uncertain fate. With the unexpected arrival of Charlie (Steven Kennedy) what appears to be an opportunity at a new beginning quickly turns to horror as menacing as the infected that pursue them.
It seems like most zombie shows I watch either focus really hard on one or the other and then flip flop. Like how the walking dead was very action but turned into more of a drama after the zombie action became more stale. I usually like more action in the beginning to capture my interest before getting too people heavy. I don't care about strangers' drama until I get to know them better, which is what happens naturally during the beginning. A quick intro to the characters during the beginning of the action with short flashbacks and social interactions happening later are what I prefer.
If survival is the name of the game I take care of myself first then my kids. They know how to survive in the wilderness they just need me there as a leader or they bicker amongst themselves. Just remember even a stick or a finger can be a weapon, just gotta know how to use it right.
I feel it's a movie to watch "Only" one time! Poor girl, being left behind waiting for boyfriend/husband. But he did come back an I would have been so happy to not be alone! One last thing, he was begging her to "get up" an she said she couldn't but when he left her she sprung up nice an strong, shot him an carried on until... Like I said good for "one" time lol!
For those saying there wouldn't be human violence during a zombie apocalypse, you'd be surprised because there's not much surplus so everyone would be fighting for the supplies & killing each other off for that as well as for shelter. Sad but true. The kinds of things would happen as well because if you have been alone for years you'd crave the affection of a partner & seek it even if it means rape. Which is horrible as well but it would happen. Nothing would really change except for the fact that there are zombies walking around eating people.
Also I'm guessing the people who survive are of a more aggressive assertive personality type that would make it easy for them to dismiss morals in favor of survival. Like how it's easier for people with psychosocial traits to make lots of money than people with high empathy who refuse to take advantage of others. You have to be brutal to survive a long time in a post apocalyptic world
Not the virus....the vaccine for the virus. But it’s already happening with so many folks on psych medications. They’ve been creating zombies for awhile, now.
@Zaphod Beeblebrox my forever is the years I was here in the world and I can remember.. That's a really dumb thing to ask btw.. Not judging ~ pls don't be offended! 💝
Unless the troops decided she was probably bitten and shot her just to be sure, lol. Which is probably what would have happened in a Humans Are Bastards universe like this.
The alpha male with the SUV should have immediately driven the beta boyfriend a few miles away and killed him, then made the woman his subslut. Then again, turning the simp into a cuckold worked well. A good low budget movie all in all.
It was okay and it made me think. That cream puff, John, got what he deserved. He was completely useless . It's hard enough to trust people when all is well. How difficult would it be to trust people in an emergency?
Oh my god, what a gutless pathetic woman of a man John is! All I wanted was to see that little bigch pull the trigger, my heart was beating so hard and it m as deep me sick.
or ease she was skinny sh could hide under car and her hubby or whatever could just hop in car and hide in backseat or they could just run to the other side if road i got mad bc when he said her to stand up she waz begin all crazy and dramatic and couldnt walk but when she shoot him she is like she have nothing like wtf b**ch u could bare pain to survive but she let her husband or bf getting eaten if i was her ik getting shoot hurt but to survive i will bare it
There is no way , when she checked out Charlie's Range Rover, that she would not have smelled that female zombie rotting in the back! Chivalry is dead for Charlie! Dan from Nebraska 🇺🇸
Ain't no way I'm giving my woman away weak man would just let a man talk your girl like that. I would have learned how to hunt or something I'll share anything but not that pussycat lol
Even now, I prepare for a SHTF scenario with an escape plan, supplies, weaponry/ammo, radios, first aid kittery, cooking tools/food, ways to make fire, rope, shovel, general tools, tenting. When SHTF hits, all you'll have is what you've put aside.
Thanks for posting. I expected to hate it but still chose to at least give it 35min, wasn't really disappointed by the end because it didn't play out like your typical zombie apocalypse movies. FOR FK SAKE WHY DID EVIE NEVER WASH THAT FILTHY DRESS FROM BEGINNING TO END? weird but i kept wondering that.
Anybody else notice at 12:45 she pointing a rifle at the man with the bolt straight up on the rifle. At 12:51 it's down without her putting a hand on it. Ya. I know it's not perfect. I just found it amusing if I noticed it right off then the editors should have seen it too. Lol.

Lol, i'm glad i didnt pay for this. While certainly not the worst zombie movie i've seen. This hardly qualified as zombie-horror. It's more of a soy-boy horror show.
Plot follows
Soy-boy with glasses and asthma cant deal with real life outside a campus
Mr. StealYoGirl shows up and steals soy-boys' girl
Cucking ensues
The End
Nice
damn it, wanted a zombie film, not an apocalypse love drama :/
Never bring noisy ppl or the one who easily scream.
I was so glad to see that "John" character got shot by his girlfriend and attacked by the zombies. He was such an annoying coward!
Yeah
Yeah. A total collapse of civilization wouldn't mess with your head at all nah. What are you? 11B? 19D? Or maybe SOF guy?
Didn't think so.
If she can walk thn why she didn’t get up when her husband was requesting???
Thank you!!!
She wanted to see if he was gonna manup for once an fight for her......but he went for self an played his self for the last time
Is there any girl watching this.
Yes...present
Jenny Perdiguerra
Lol, cool. 😆
Thanks BizWiz❤️❤️❤️👌
Yes I am🙋🙆 starting now
Yes. I started not to watch this, now I see why. 🤦🏾♀️🤢👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾
It is always wise to scream as loud as you can when someone is trying to get in and doesn't know if any one is inside.
I know I'm in the minority here but I actually like that fact that it's a zombie movie about people and few zombies. That's actually a nice twist...
Eve and John deserve eachother while they scream and cry, stumbling around fighting and creating unnecessary drama... Sheesh!
all i learned watching this movie is that you should protect yourself alone
Eduardo Reyes Perez all I learned is never give your weapons to anyone
Lmao 😂
Chal kabaddi pagal
If survival is the name of the game I take care of myself first then my kids. They know how to survive in the wilderness they just need me there as a leader or they bicker amongst themselves. Just remember even a stick or a finger can be a weapon, just gotta know how to use it right.
@@cutebutsadisticable Agree with you my step father taught us the same thing .👍👍
Well the comments are all negative so i wont even bother watching lol. Thanks ppl
Good decision. Wasted my time
I feel it's a movie to watch "Only" one time!
@@tiffanybillups4482 if you say its good then i guess i can give it a try lol thanks tiffany
how come they all shouting at each other and talk so loud? no wonder they attract zombies.
But that's the point of the movie so that we see more zombies.
This is more of a depressing post-zombie-apocalypse drama more than anything. i wouldn´t call it horror.
This movie made me so angry... coward husband and non stop crying wife... perfect combination to hate the move... Still good plot and worth watching.
Hahaha very well said...i just wanted to die the noisy lady so everyone can survived
it is rare for many movies to enrage me but this movie made it! What a shitty film!!! totally waste of my time
Same here dude so annoying that woman she scream a lot😡😡
Non stop crying wife)))
Another great quality video! It's nice to watch such clear videos and with opening and closing credits. The movie, a 3.5. Thanks Popcorn.
Are you still alive?
Yeah right, sad but true, and I think we can't even imagine how far peoples can go...
Also I'm guessing the people who survive are of a more aggressive assertive personality type that would make it easy for them to dismiss morals in favor of survival. Like how it's easier for people with psychosocial traits to make lots of money than people with high empathy who refuse to take advantage of others. You have to be brutal to survive a long time in a post apocalyptic world
Hey guys imagine if this corona virus is going to be like this turning people into zombies. Well I did dream of it it's oqward
Its so fun hihihihihi
If it did I would commit suicide
Not the virus....the vaccine for the virus. But it’s already happening with so many folks on psych medications. They’ve been creating zombies for awhile, now.
I've been imagining that since forever!!
@Zaphod Beeblebrox my forever is the years I was here in the world and I can remember.. That's a really dumb thing to ask btw.. Not judging ~ pls don't be offended! 💝
So.. Can anyone tell me what's in the trunk?
Good movie...... Though husband...... Not man enough, very selfish man.
Not bad. Good plot twist at the end. John had it coming..
How to make a zombie movie for fifty dollars.
There, l fixed the title for you.
Lmao
Lol😂😂
More like 50 cent
But it wasn't the worst.
Corona virus
I think this movie is good ,can someone finish to watch this ,its okay?
Watching from qatar
Made in pinas
August 182020
Time check 1632pm
The ending... it seemed Evie is rescued from the sound of helicopter
Unless the troops decided she was probably bitten and shot her just to be sure, lol. Which is probably what would have happened in a Humans Are Bastards universe like this.
What have we learned. You should not date a Beta male in a end of the world scenario.
Hahaha! Yes!!
The alpha male with the SUV should have immediately driven the beta boyfriend a few miles away and killed him, then made the woman his subslut. Then again, turning the simp into a cuckold worked well. A good low budget movie all in all.
Ok this comment made me want to watch this shit. Got nothing to do.
A BITCH ASS MAN..
And she waited for his weak asthmatic ass.
@Lon Hixson Me an incel? Sometimes I wish I was, during this lock-down my bitches are constantly begging me for more strokin'.
It was okay and it made me think. That cream puff, John, got what he deserved. He was completely useless . It's hard enough to trust people when all is well. How difficult would it be to trust people in an emergency?
❤
@@kcdalde5274 Don't give a heart. Evie wasn't much better. Totally helpless and dragging everyone down.
Pray not to marry a coward 🤦🏻♀️
He just was traumatized not a coward
@@derrickcoleman6743 Sure.
Oh my god, what a gutless pathetic woman of a man John is! All I wanted was to see that little bigch pull the trigger, my heart was beating so hard and it m as deep me sick.
Y los subtítulos en español??? No aparecen😢😢 ojalá subieran las películas subtituladas ,hay un montón q no las miro porque no tienen
She picked a husband that couldn"t protect her . A weak spineless man.She finally realized that!
Don't Blame him, Blame FEMINISM.. Boys in the west are being feminize..
She can protect herself. She doesn't need anyone to protect her.
in a world where everything is upside down, zombie roaming the streets, and crying like every single day? Good luck with that idea.
Had a moral to it.
Both of them could’ve survived if they didn’t forget the gas in the back seat, also evie was messed up for shooting John...
She needed "zombie" bait.
Jinkeryblink she should have killed his ass
or ease she was skinny sh could hide under car and her hubby or whatever could just hop in car and hide in backseat or they could just run to the other side if road i got mad bc when he said her to stand up she waz begin all crazy and dramatic and couldnt walk but when she shoot him she is like she have nothing like wtf b**ch u could bare pain to survive but she let her husband or bf getting eaten if i was her ik getting shoot hurt but to survive i will bare it
gas? and nah, she was right, he was gonna leave her to die.
She definitely turned the tables on that weak, cowardly weasel. He was going to just leave her there.
Slow and boring. You keep waiting for something to happen but nothing ever does. Don't waste your time
Same could be said for some crushes. The guy will never make a move on the girl.
First he had problems in breathing the automatically he got some med for his asthama
How could someone like John live for this long in an apocalypse?! All he ever does is sit around and cry when bad things happen. like really wtf
never mind he finally grew a pair
So does simp Evie.
Facts, had the urge to jst punch the shit outa him constantly.
Well all I can Say after watching thiS movie ''TruSt no_one'' lol
nd m not one of them .😎
Jjjjjj😠😠🤪🤪🤪
John the millennial man
These movie made me realize not to trust anyone even if he's your husband. In this kind of situation, betrayal is for the win
bruh
Right, you can never know someone completely. Not even yourself
Even now, I prepare for a SHTF scenario with an escape plan, supplies, weaponry/ammo, radios, first aid kittery, cooking tools/food, ways to make fire, rope, shovel, general tools, tenting. When SHTF hits, all you'll have is what you've put aside.
She should have pick up that rifle before she left him there u never know
Great movie disturbing but very realistic.loved it.
Lol.
I was going to comment but everyone else said what I wanted to say. Sad, sad, sooooo sad. If the world ever goes heels up, there will be a bunch of these folks roaming around. Ruuuun from them I say! Ruuuuunnnnn!!!
Goes to show that even during a zombie apocalypse the zombies are more trustworthy than the humans! Ha, art imitating life?
Lol u silly they will eat u anyway
How can zombies be if they can attack u lol
No diffrence
that was a very well done movie. the actors could really act....unlike these big name celebrities these days. Bravo!! and thank you.
I thought it was good. Had some interesting plot twists and a few scares.
Right
Was anyone else annoyed to the point of anger with how long they played out him crying on the ground?
Yep. I had to fast forward. Okaaaaaaaaaaay, I get it, he's a useless ass. How long do we have to sit here watching him be a useless ass?
A zombie movie where you can literally count how many zombies appear in the movie.
reading comments while watching
@Isaac Smith ah good
@@jasminecomoda2195 me Im reading the comment

I love watching zombies eat em up in movies 🧟♂️🧟♀️🧟♂️
im confused. 1st she was in too much pain to get up, but then she gets up as soon as he starts to run
Ain't that a bit....At the end...She acted like she was soo weak she couldn't move or stand..,but When he starts to go on..She stood perfectly.Mad me mad 🙄🤬
If they were smart they would climb to the upper part of the barn. I know I would
They are unfortunately dumb as a chain lock on a paper weight
Me i will build underground so nibody will see me.
Yes I was thinking, climb to the roof, make an area up there for safety and scouting.
That's the hero she's been waiting for....
In an zombie Apocalyptic atmosphere at the beginning it's as though they had a party, and with all of those people in one space no one thought it necessary to be on watch,.... Strange!!!
Who's watching because of the quaratine ? Haha watching with my sister karen ,macee, monic gigi lagid
Meeeee from haiti
Super awesome ending. In MT we have a joke. I don't have to outrun the bear. I just have to outrun you. Remember that...
