This thing's a beast. Alternating between bites and headbutts, leading up to a facetank against an opponent really does make this thing more potent than it otherwise would have on paper, since it's a fair bit lighter than other apexes. Found also that its tail attack is pretty good on its own, as its already pretty fast with solid turning for an apex, although its bleed for individual attacks leave much to be desired. In other words, its kit incentivies immense build diversity, rather than a 'one-size-fits-all' build, being the subjective 'best' one. Lends it effectiveness more toward the players ability to use it, rather than individual abilities acting as a crutch, such as big eds stomp for example.
Yeah could of done better but is was Day 1 I dont generally use Tail attacks dont get my back taken often enough or for long enough and I completely hate those Aoe attacks it was aimed to help bad players it seems or because they couldnt fix lag. Im against anything that doesnt have to actually hit you as its killing the game and laggy Gondwa is too need new map and lag fixes not Aoe attacks.
@AnkleMuncher I can partially agree, as I myself haven't had many issues with AOE attacks, except in the case of Absentia acro with how much distance it covers, as most either had a reasonable range, had a long telegraph, or were pretty weak damage wise for it to be an issue. But that doesn't mean I don't understand the hate surrounding it, since not only is it a massive hitbox, but it also ignores hitzones, so if it clips your tail, it's treated as a body hit no matter what, which is a little stupid imo. Either way, practice makes perfect, and if the process ends up being fun as well, then it's just a bonus.
@@theorangeman9147 im a small dino player so its very annoying as people will walk up to 2 small dinos fighting and stomp killing both them without even hitting them basically its an exploit more. Havent been killed by it much but almost like 50 times by someone 3rd partying on low small dinos see so many ppl die like this without getting hit its a joke just shows Alderon are incapable of fixing lag.
Sorry it wasnt longer but everyone was Acros there was too much grouping and ganging up on ppl typical Day 1. Cant wait for remodeled Utah bit sad the dino that got into me game will be gone, but it just isnt with the times got the best out of it in my video with it after that too much OP stuff released and it become useless again.
