I mean this blade has everything! If you want it to stay out, flip the switch. Want it to stay in? Flip a switch. Wanna be as awesome as Master Assassin Ezio and quickly hide the blade, flip a switch! I swear when I get a job, I don't care about AC Valhalla, I'm buying this first!👍
Goshdang, love how ya always improving the inner mechanism of the HBs. I appreciate how much higher quality they are too. An issue I had with the one I bought from ya (The One Button Aguilar HB) was that the rubber bands that did all the work would always break after some time and replacing them was difficult too. Whenever this gets a two tiered setup, Ill for sure try to get my hands on this fellow to replace yhe old one I got from ya.
maybe if he made his production value better he would get more views than rawice, just saying. Rawice does super in depth explanations and gets a ton of orders for his blades at the same time. its easy to copy his mechanisms so ur argument to keep it secret makes no sense bc if it was true nobody would buy Rawices blades and just make their own. However he ALWAYS sells out
That’s really cool that you were able to incorporate a safety and a blade locking mode. Do you think you’ll be able to make an extended version of this design? Could you also make an extended version of the scissor mechanism hidden blade? I remember you said you don’t like that design, but seeing an extended version of it would be awesome. Can’t wait to see what’s next though
I think the gray part must be the part right under your arm , not the red part. I'm really confuse about that :( But it's still a coolest design i ever seen , good job my brother. VietNam Brotherhood proud of you and always got your back :)
That's really... WOW. I'm a fan of your work. Your mechanisms are impressive. Actually some of your design ideas inspired me and shaped my "engineering" mind in some way. All those moving slots, latches, etc. Just want to say a huge thank you. And also thank you for sharing the internals of your creations, I'd personally be afraid doing that. I'm with you since first wooden "How-to-make", that actually inspired me doing something with my hands myself. I remember after i made it and it worked successfully I was so proud of myself like I never been before....))) THANK YOU I also have a question. Which one of your designs of hidden blade is the thinnest? It's hard to tell and compare in a video
Hello again, hey I wanted to ask something, I have seen your peculiar work with the Hidden Blades, I wanted to ask you if you have thought about doing other things with mechanisms, for example: Spiderman's WebShooters, Retractable Swords, among other things...
I love the compact design and the 2 blade modes! However, the safety lock is different from what I imagined. In your version, you simply can't pull the string, which makes it hard to use your hand for anything else. In my imaginary version, you could still pull the string, so you have full range of motion for climbing, fighting etc. Also: will it be possible to make this a dual extended blade? :)
I think this is the definitive mechanism, it does not depend on momentum to move the blade, making it resilient to water, and those machine belts are designed to take a lot of tensile force, so a metal hidden blade would have no problem. Are you a mechanical engineer?
@@imdeepainreborn I'm a software engineering student (my uni has mechanical engineering too), and your design looks like one made by an engineer. Congrats!
Hi. Some time ago i had an idea of making hidden blade but with a little anusual style. A wristblade, but one to mount on the top of your hand, not forearm to conceal it on the glove or inside of it. Maybe flipblade or spinblade activated by tightening fist or with some kind of lever like in Kershaw ET that would be pushed by forearm while bending your wrist. I called it (how originaly) the FistBlade. Would you be interested with project like this?
Hey, I ordered the first version of your Leonardo blade, however the teeth on the large pulley gear stripped off. Do you have replacement pulley wheels or have a source i can order a new one from?
I will make tutorial, but i can not find easy way for people to make gear system, it's too hard, the gear formulas are difficult, and it can't be 3d printed by normal fdm technology. When i sold that problem, i will make tutorial
You should consider selling your files, so people who don't have several hundred dollars to buy a plastic model can still have one, and you'd be making money from people who otherwise couldn't buy anything from you
@@imdeepainreborn there are very few people who can afford $2,000 for a set of 3d files, so for every one person who buys them, you could be getting 20 times the buyers if you made the cost 10 times lower. This also wouldn't displace your profits from your finished models, as there's a lot of people who want a metal one or a professionally made one, not something they'd have to make, so you'd be increasing profit and sales with little to no losses

This is probably the most functional hidden blade ever. Sure, there are switches to worry about, but that's one thing that can't be helped. I prefer the standard OTF mechanism myself.
Don't you see the video he made it to be fit everyone :D , if you want original OTF , so you switch to showoff mode because it funtion the same way and leave it that way , if you want to be fast go to others mode. And i think you dont have to worry about the safe switch if you like OTF ;)))
@@steamlegend1909 I know. It's just feels troublesome for me to think about the maintenance to be done to this blade. The traditional OTF blade is much simpler. Still kinda complicated, but still much simpler and easier to maintain.
