As an amazon delivery driver ,, we do our best to deliver it in proper way but the amount of stress is overwhelming, we get around 150-180 stops with over 250-300 parcels ,, if we wait 2 minutes at each customer door that means 360 extra minutes of work that day which makes it around 6 hours of extra work,, it gets dark and hard to deliver at times ... complaints to amazon fall on deaf ears.. every morning you load ur van then an hour to first stop ,, in order to finish on time , u have to drive in a dangerous way ... no matter how the weather is rain , wind , snow , covid .. you got to have minimum returns back to depot also have to have the least concessions otherwise your are named and shamed in the groups
Even if we complain about drivers not delivering packages properly to UPS or Fedex, They do not care Amazon takes full responsibility about their driver's behavior
In India it is a lot better Amazon rings our doorbell give it in our hands And one even told me to have a good day This was before quarantine Now they are distant because of safety I really appreciate that 😄😄

These employee are mostly near the big city but if you in the country side there are very nice people if you talk to them. And they always put down my package nicely near my gate.
