- Latest update on the Royal Hospital demolition. Demolition has begun on the duncan Building and most of the low level buildings have gone at the front including the Casualty. each visit i made over the two days the big claw was broken and no work was going on. Fingers crossed for next visit to capture some demolition in progress
The men doing the removal of Asbestos are from the Midlands , Monday - Thursday, they drink in the Livervaults Pub , in Gilead Street , Kensington. I am sure they would love to see this , a friendly group .

It amazes me that that the building has not been stripped of the services. It looks like they are seperating the different materials at ground level.
some has been stripped but it seems that's the way they do it these days. everything is processed on site and taken to the appropriate place
Strangely absorbing. As my daughter did a University of Liverpool Degree in Physiotherapy, she may well have memories of moments there, so I've sent her the link to have a look at this.

i can try but thats a bit tucked away and the seagulls are a nightmare.
Are the charnal chimneys alongside going too..or do they serve the new hospital ?

Someone hopefully writing the story from start to finish, the build was taking so long parts of it were obsolete before it was finished. There were thousands of miles cable in there, probably half of it no one knew what it was for 18 years ago.
is there a hospital next to hospital building and what will in the place of the old hospital when it comes down
Yes there is a new hospital just next to it, and a new healthcare learning campus I believe?
yes that is correct. there is a new one up and running behind this one. you can see it on some of the other videos
