When Saka plays for England why is there no pundit with an issue with him being overplayed🤔 Interestingly the first hamstring issue for Saka happened while he played a meaningless friendly for England
Exactly, this started with an injury for England in a game he should have been nowhere near. I swear no other manager gets this sort of nonsense when a player gets injured. Always double standards from these melts in the media when it comes to Arsenal 🙄
The buck stops with the manager. He still has eyes. You can't defer all your power over to others when you're the first one out the door when things go wrong. You take the advice and do what you think is best thereafter.
The idea that Arteta needs an analyst to tell him about the dangers of overplaying a player is utterly ridiculous to me. It is so obvious for even a layman like me that overplaying players will lead to injuries. What is Arteta's excuse? He doesn't have any; it is 100 percent on him for failing to appreciate or downright ignoring the risks of his strategy.
Always double standards when it's Arsenal, it's pathetic. Rodri gets injured, it's the FA or UEFA's fault because there's too many games - not a word of criticism for Pep, despite them spending 50m on a backup & never resting Rodri.
injuries happen he was fit until he got injured, no one is to blame! he was fit per him, per his docs, so he plays if he is fit! and accidents and injuries can happen anytime no matter how muxh you try to avoid it!
What is Dean talking about? Arteta can and should use his brain to figure out how to manage Saka's minutes. Secondly, Arteta could also easily ignore the advice of his medical staff. Dean is wrong!
Funny how they don’t talk about turning over palace both times..but wanna talk about saka and it’s arteta’s fault 🤦🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️ can’t please these people.
Saka has already played 25 games this season. He had a very short summer break after the Euros. He wasn't given enough time off before the new season started and has been over played this season. I blame Arteta for this injury.
Adrian Durham has always disliked Arsenal, and Arteta in particular. It's really no surprise that he would point the finger in that direction. Anthony Gordon has played a similar amount of games/minutes, in a similar position, and Durham and his ilk have nothing to say about that.
It’s interesting that none of the analysts mentioned the number games he’s played for England and how he was never substituted in a lot of those games.
The fitness coach/analyst cannot say "if you don't leave him out, he will get injured" 💀they literally cant predict that and give you a black and white statement. Its obvious that arteta has to take majority of the blame. He's the ultimately the one selecting him and Arsenal fans with their head screwed on have said for years that saka needs someone to rotate with unless he'd be ran into the ground. Saka has played 23k minutes at age 23, thats one of most minutes played by someone that age in history. It was very obvious that if arteta kept using him how did then he would eventually get a big injury.
As arteta said himself being able to play that amount of football at a high level is all part of being elite, saka has played 47 games last season and 48 the season before, ronaldo and messi were playing 55 games a season at the top level, have you seen ronaldo when hes been subbed? He hates it, he never wanted to come off the pitch whether his team was winning or not, saka will want to play every game its not like arteta is forcing him to play against his will, there is also a fine line between keeping a player at their peak and causing injury and nobody knkws exactly when injuries will occur, if they could figure that out nobody would ever get injured. Also I didn't see pep getting criticised for Rodris injury, why was he played week in week out?
You are leading 5 nil. You are the manager. Which advisor comes to you and say, let's get Saka in. For what reason. I find it difficult to understand why you should want to put Saka in when you are leading 5 nil. That's on the manager. Adviser or no adviser why in the hell does he need to go on the pitch. There is absolutely no reason
Talk sport could give Durham a new show all to himself. He used to host the 'Drive' show. All they'd need to do is add one letter and call it 'Drivel'!.. 'Drivel with Durham'...
Can a physio really have that much say though at a club like Arsenal , dictating to Arteta that I don’t think you should play Saka today (regardless of the importance of the match, sounds far fetched imo).
Must’ve run out of stories to talk about. Injuries are part of elite sport. Who could’ve know. It’s very simple. He got injured just liked any other player could. Never heard anyone complain about how much Salah plays for Liverpool
why not blame England coach for playing him in every match .even when they have cover for him in an England squad to compared to Arsenal ...crazy people everywhere
Blame every England manager especially Southgate playing him every bloody minute in nothing friendlies. Durham with more lazy analysis and punditry trying to get a response from one of the most active fanbases online
No one understands what Adrian Durham says, the man is a pathetic excuse for a pundit, he’s got a hardon for Arteta and use any opportunity to take a pot shot at him and Arsenal. The man is a joke, also @talksport why this is a conversation when an Arsenal player gets injured but never any other manager or club when one of their own go down injured??
So when will English media talk about how Saka is the most fouled player in the EPL. How about you stop blaming Arteta and start taking some accountability for not calling out the horrendous refereeing. Protect Saka like you protect the white players.
Myth about overplaying. Salah haaland palmer all played more the last 2 seasons. He’s been rested from league cup starts. Also missed a few games in October.
It's more about knowing your players limits. Salah is a beast, Saka is just built different. Not all players can play that much football.Arteta should know this by now
@@davidgibson3481haters should leave Arteta alone!!! Players do suffer injuries and Saka is no exception. He will be right back in no time. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I agree with Adrian. I'm a huge fan of Arteta and I think he's done a fantastic job but he doesn't rotate the squad enough and this injury has been coming for a long time. It's the same with Ødegaard, same with Martinelli, same with Saliba and Gabriel.
hahaha so many numpties out here who know better than pro analysts and Sports Scientists.....as if Arsenal would put their prized asset at risk ffs....
Saka playing every game may have contributed to his injury, but to say it was solely Arteta's fault is overreacting. The intensity of the Palace game and the weather probably played a bigger part in his injury. I think it was just a freak accident where he over extended his leg whilst not being fully warmed up. People have to understand that Messi and Ronaldo would play 60+ games a season and both sustained only a handful of injuries in their entire career.
Played less minutes at this part of the season vs the last 4 seasons. Pep rested Rodri early in the season, then started him vs Arsenal, he breaks down.
Arsenal has been a good stë ppïng stone for Saka but it's time he moves on to a big club like Barça..He needs to fulfil his destiny by coming to warm the bench at Barça.. Yamal being the future of football and all, we can't risk him getting injured so Saka can come in and be the 4th option in the right wing.. I'm counting on you Saka 👏

Arteta is target for those lazy pundits because he is not a young coach from England haha 😂😂
Engaland has more than five good players that can play in his position .but the coach always play him in every match
Arteta being blamed for something yet again? I'm so surprised...
Arteta being absolved of something again? Why am I not surprised?

I don't usually agree with Adrian Durham but I have to agree with him on Arteta playing Saka in dead games.
Why is no one saying pep overplayed rodri qnd thats why he is out for the season.I guess agendas must agend

When you got sterling warming up the bench, unfortunately bringing off saka isnt much of an option
Only every pundit, ex player and fan been saying for years saka is being over played 😅 no winger plays as much as him even the fittest.
Salah does? Us as arsenal fans just like to complain and give rivals ammo 🙄
@MikeJames. Arteta plays him in every game since the day Salah went to Liverpool he'll be left out of cup games and taken off when game wrapped up.
@@Fingerbashed3 have you checked the amount the have played ? I’ll be stunned if it’s massively different, we’re cry baby fans mate it’s embarrassing

We don't know so we will just assume Arteta didn't listen to any advice which may have been given...
So funny how the media chooses who should be protected and Who should not.
Don't you think there's a reason why Saka in particular is singled out in the media for having needed protection?
Lmaooo. Does he work in Arsenal? Making assumptions and being so sure about it but kicking off another assumption 😂
When dere is nothing better to talk about 😂😂
they just want to keep their jobs .

Worry about your own sorry excuse for a club instead of celebrating injuries to rivals. Classless muppet.

Salah yes but Palmer gets his rest in big games & Haaland barely moves 😂
