I’ve tried the dry ice method. It’s not bad. It pressed into some ok hash. Though, nothing near full melt. I’ll be trying out ice water hash with my next harvest. I really want to eliminate as much leaf material as possible.
@@Mr.Helper. I basically have aluminum molds made for pressing the collected resin heads into blocks of hash. I typically just smoke the hash on it’s own. I’m not a heavy smoker, so the hash lasts me a really long time and really doesn’t go bad if properly stored.
@@ch4rl3y1972 I like bubble better also, I grow specifically for hash rosin so I only use bud. I do save and use trim when I have a bunch saved for some hash bricks or temple balls which also is separated via ice and RO-water.
@@jerrywhiting7556 I'm not trying to argue but only question because carbon dioxide is a natural gas which is trippy to me to extract thc with I am just trying to be educated because I want kief but Safety comes first I guess if there was an issue then there wouldn't be tutorial videos of this process.
I have heard it crushes a lot of the material contaminating the resin so if your looking for a cleaner product dry ice tech is probably not for you but to each his own!
You can just freeze material for 24 to 48hr before using ,I'll freeze bunch of small bags with the material , you dont need the ice just be fast when screening material and keep switching to new frozen bags after material starts warming up...personally i think dry ice ends up leaving more plant matter... it can crush material up quick but ive seen decent results when done right, I guess you could use static tech to clean it up after if were picky as me ...I like to be gentle and don't beat the material up. I also use multiple screens different micron sizes too.
i have several ounces of kief stored away for my winter. i also have some lovely hashish i made.
Moon rocks anyone!

What you do with the hash ?

I used the ice water method last year, made some awesome hash which helped with FMS pain, highly recommend it :)

So is it safe* to extract kief with carbon dioxide? Jw forgive me if Idk.
Dry ice is made from CO2. Perfectly safe. It all melts away.

@@coincollectorchase try bubblehash, much cleaner product and also no chemicals used

Are you using leaves from your harvest and grinding it up first?
No, I use flower with some sugar leaf. I want trichomes, not green material.
Hey, how many lpi or micron is this screen? Thanks!

Buy the same screen I use: wackywillysweb.com/product/stainless-steel-dry-sift-keif-box-screen-set/
We’re can I buy this please
You can buy the mesh on a serigraphic shop, it has about 43, 45, 47 strings. And the white thing is dry ice, CO2. Is very easy to find.
Dockside Cannabis in Seattle.
You get same result without ice. Or do you think it instantly freeze? :o
