Thank you for watching! If you enjoyed this video, you should watch - "Cooking With $34 Kool-Aid..." ua-cam.com/video/E8qelG1k2gA/v-deo.html
Go to western Washington to the national parks. Mt rainier, north cascades are mind blowing. You might not no this but as ridiculous as this sounds you where in the ugly part of Washington. Spokane is beautiful but western Washington takes beauty to a whole unfair new level
grew up here, thank you for sharing this. brings back lots of memories. hope to move back soon
Glad you enjoyed it that is for watching. You come a cute town
Spokane! My hometown! I miss it so much.
Great shots bud! Loved the video. The iron statues were to celebrate the annual Bloomsday run event. I ran in the Jr. Bloomsday run when i was 12 and completed it in 14:50 (1996). The real beauty of Spokane lays out in nature, unseen in this video, however. Thank you for making this great video....Dallas or Bust . Peace people stay safe.

Thanks for your efforts in filming and posting this which has inspired me to plan a trip from the UK to North West USA in April 2020. It has provided plenty of ideas for places to visit in Spokane.
Hope you have a great trip. Hit up Vancouver, BC and Portland, OR too if you can
Its definitely beautiful in spokane, but don't be surprised if you see a lot of homeless people here. I'd suggest visiting Manato park during the spring or summer time and riverfront park. Other than that there's not a whole lot to do in Spokane. Also keep in mind, Spokane is on the eastern part of washington so if you planned on visiting the seattle area as well, it's a good 9 hour drive from here
@ clifton james - No it’s around 279 miles and you can do it in under 5 hours on I 90.
I currently live here now and I plan to forever.
Great town!
Yeah do u live there?
I don't. I'm a Mid Westerner
Cool
JD Gamez, how is the weather?
Thank you as always for the wonderful scenery..
Most welcome
@@NicksDynasty no doubt..
I'm very surprised you got shots without the homeless population wondering around the downtown area
They must have removed them off the streets before they shot the video, 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I’ve been to all of those places
Spokane used to be a lot more retro than that they took out all the fun and Riverfront it looks nice but it's not the same place I grew up only if you could get the video before they changed all of it
You got some awesome shots of Spokane!!
Thanks for the feed back!
looks beautiful
Nice video!!!
Thanks for the love
Gave it a minute but couldn't take the music
I'm curious, does Spokane have a unique structure? I've noticed most cities, once they reach the 150k-200k population tend to build something unique that way aerial views can be immediately recognized like "Oh that's Spokane"
I haven't noticed any, and was wondering if I just missed them or not
I'm sure there is something like that there
@@NicksDynasty I grew up in Spokane from the 1950, but since moved away to Arizona in 2014. The 20 story lego building, Wells Fargo Bank building, isn't much to look at but it's the tallest building. The iconic Old National Bank building used to be a landmark, built in 1910, it was the tallest structure in the state of Washington, until 1914. It was the tallest in Spokane until the Paulsen building, built in 1924, located across the street. I would say the two most recognizable structures from the air are the old steam plant chimneys or the U.S. Pavilion in Riverfront Park built for Expo '74 Worlds Fair.
As Nick walked across the Monroe Street Bridge, you can see in the distance a castle looking structure. That's the Spokane County Courthouse, built in 1895 and still being used to this day. The architectural form is that of a French Chateau. The interior has been remodeled to adapt to the changing times, but the exterior remains as it was originally built. A beautiful structure. I worked from there for over 20 years until my retirement. There's also an massive Episcopalian cathedral on the south hill of Spokane that's quite impressive. It often confuses tourists as it resembles many Catholic cathedrals in Europe.
@@cavebear33 fascinating, thank you!
The clock tower and the 74’ expo pavilion come to mind.
Love it
I thought it was a cute place!
can someone give me a true and realistic insight into how the weather really is in Spokane? we are considering moving here and my biggest concern is it won’t be sunny at all and cloudy/rainy all
the time. thank you!
We have hot dry summers June July august nice fall season sept- oct then cold the rest of the year either rain or snow this time of the year is pretty bipolar with the weather. But it really doesn’t rain as much as people make it seem mainly in April is the most rainy.
@@Jacob-yb5fu thank you for responding!
Doesn’t rain like it does on the west side of Washington. Lots of sun in the summer. Currently a beautiful sunny day downtown. This side of the state is known for its defined four seasons yearly.
Definitely the extreme of every season hot summers cool fall snowy Winters and rainy spring. But let me tell you about the druggie homeless problem it's bad. Don't go downtown at night time.
Difficult to watch. Hometown, havent seen those sights in years.
Nice of you to edit out the thousands of crack heads everywhere!
I didn't see that many
They must have removed them off the streets just for this video, 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

The music is terrible!
Will do better next time. THanks for watching
Like the honesty
Simply awful, 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
People! If you miss your hometown why'd you move?
Jobs or a change in pace?
other than the chipmunk music, this was a pretty good video
No homeless, no graffiti? Nice!
Oh there’s a LOT of Homeless people here!
Lucas Werner for example.
@@kayleenicole13 The homeless are a result of drug addiction. Not being priced out and people buying up the real estate on speculation. In some cities, there is no such thing as rent in the $600's ...
😂😂 come visit you’ll see all the graffiti and homeless people
Lost Sky better than what I pay for a one bed here in Utah , 800 sq ft for 1,288 a month that’s not including utilities
