Thank you Marlene so much! It is nice to know people who share your love of the hobby with you and are willing to sit and hear you talk non stop about it without getting board :-)
You are a lovely person, and your stitching is amazing! It’s motivating to see you’ve been stitching for so many years. I’m humbled by the beauty of your pieces. I’m so grateful to Carol the Saltbox Stitcher for mentioning your channel. I’m sure glad I checked it out!
I just watched your video #1 and now on #2 after Carol the Saltbox Stitcher sung your praises. Young lady you are FABULOUS! A true artist. All my best. Lisa from northern Ohio.
Wow! Thank you so much Lisa! Hope you enjoyed it, I really appreciate your kind words of support. I am truly grateful to Carol for her shout out, she is an amazing person😊
Loving your channel. I am enjoying seeing your stitching styles. It's very different from what I stitch and I find it's making me think about expanding the types of patterns I stitch. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your stitching.
Another great video, I would love to see your collections also. I thought I had seen all the Mira's but you had a few that I had never seen before. Anxious to see all the Santa 's. Thanks for the video, your work is wonderful and can't to see more . Happy Stitching!
Loved you most recent videos and have decided to go back and watch from the beginning. It is so much fun to get to see all of the different projects that interest you, you do beautiful work!
Really enjoy watching your videos, and look forward to more. Great job on fixing the holes in your fabric, the finish will be just as beautiful. I have stitched that one and can appreciate the hours it takes to complete!
Hey Heidi, Welcome to the floss tube world and thank you for putting in the time to create your channel. I watched video 1 and now 2 and 3 is in the waiting. When i stitch Mirabilla faces I use 2 over 1 and only do a tent stitch, it covers good but doesnt make it so bulky.
Heidi, love your name, it was my favorite book when I was a little girl. Another wonderful flosstube full of beauty. Scissors stabbing thru that project??.. It can be easy for this to happen, I nearly did it myself this week on my Rose Wreath project!!!.. So glad you came on to flosstube. I live in New Zealand and have no cross stitch friends who understand our hobby. Keep stitching!!
Hi Suzanne! Thank you! I read those books too, love those adventures! Scissor stubbing is a hearth stopping moment when your are more then half way done! My reason for making the videos was because in real life I don't have stitchy friends and I wanted to share my hobby with like minded people! Thank you for your support and kind words of encouragement! Cheers!
Very enjoyable and fun to watch. Heidi, you are a phenomenal stitcher. You are lovely to listen to and have such a variety of projects! I’m new to your channel and am happy to see that you continued after your first two videos!
I’m also stitching Summer Ball. I have a very small start because I’m using the DMC and I don’t like the colours. I downloaded the pattern onto my IPad and ordered the original anchor colours. I will restart because yours looked so good and now I want to stitch on it again. Thanks for the video!!!
I love your Flosstubes. I’m watching from the beginning, my daughter told me about you on Saturday. Your stitching is beautiful Heidi I’m in awe of you. You have such gorgeous projects and I will look forward to seeing your Flosstube updates. Thank you for taking the time to make Flosstubes. 🤩
If you want to try a great framer, use On The Wall in Santa Ana. They are very experienced and have an entire building of framing possibilities! They ship world wide as well! Love your Queen of Freedom, beautiful!!!
Hi again Heidi! After I commented on the last video I saw you posted a second already. I enjoyed this video very much! Regarding the Map of HRH that you will finish for another stitcher, I have a suggestion. If you want your stitches to go the same direction, you can rotate the fabric 90 degrees and stitch it from the side. I have a project I have to stitch that way, because the designer charted half stitches as two quarter stitches and explained they need to be stitched in the opposite direction of the normal top stitches for a watercolor effect. The problem was that my regular cross stitches were opposite to the designer’s, so I stitch it at 90 degrees so that my half stitches follow the charted direction and also go opposite to my top stitch. It’s hard to explain, but hopefully you can follow what I mean. It’s an easy fix! But I also like the idea of just stitching normally and letting the original stitcher’s work stand for itself. Can’t wait to see more videos from you! Happy stitching!
That is a wonderful idea, thank you! it didn't even occur to me to work from the side. I understand what you are saying, instead of stitching the picture form the front turn sideways and stitch that way. I am gonna give it a try and will let you know 😊
I love that you stitch a little bit of everything! Can’t wait to see the rest of your collection. I understand what you mean about not being able to talk to family or friends about this hobby. Whenever I do I can instantly see their eyes glaze over! 😂 So it’s nice to see what others ego love the craft are up to. Take care!
I’ve been really enjoying your FlossTube videos 🙂 Love seeing all your lovely stitching! I also love Jane Austen and once I saw your Summer Ball WIP, I knew I had to have it too! Thanks for sharing the info of where to get it! Happy stitching 🙂
Heidi I love your stitching because there is so much variety. I think you stitches look perfect. I like your your color choices of fabric. It’s amazing how much you accomplish, bravo!!☺️👍🏻
It might have been mentioned already - turn Hawk Run Hallow upside down and stitch it and your x’s will match the original stitcher’s work. Love all of your WIPs
Just notice you have a second video out. Love your stitching we have a lot of the same taste. I have Christmas in London and should start it. Beautiful stitching
Great video! I really love your taste: The Tired Trio, A Summer Ball, the Camelot Sampler (which I have never seen before), the Hawk Run pieces and the Glendon Place Sleepy Hollow--I love them all! Fantastic! Can't wait to go back and catch the first part of your WIP Parade. --Deb
Oh thank you so much! Love watching you stitch all the Miras and loved your finish parade! You might have enabled me to start another mermaid! Loved the way you finished and framed yours! :-)
I'm absolutely in love with your channel! You must NEVER sleep! Your WIPS are absolutely amazing and each piece is just beautiful! I really enjoy seeing every single one of your pieces and could honestly put all of the ones I don't have already on a wish list right away. Thanks again for sharing your gift with us and PLEASE continue these videos. (PS - I could hear you much better on this one than the first.) Steph
Great floss tube, thanks so much. I would love to see more of different style, samplers, etc. Your work is so good, and so quick, amazing. Thanks again, take care 🤗🧵🪡
Loving your parade! Your fix for the Halloween at Hawk Run Hallow is perfect. It may be easier to tell in person, but once you frame it, I doubt anyone will really see it. The iron-on interfacing was genius. I will definitely try that in the future. I've always just patched with a bit of the border fabric, but I like the interface idea.
When you have a hole, don't panic. Take one fabric thread from one side of your piece. Weave that thread over the hole area following the over under of the other fabric threads. End with the thread behind your project.
Lovely to see some more of your collection. I'm having a terrible time with the Camelot Sampler at the moment - I've stitched Arthurs face about 5 times so far, and had to pull it out each time!
Thankful I found you from a recent shoutout! Your projects and stitching is absolutely stunning! So many amazing pieces in your collection! I love to stitch samplers and the fancy ladies although I hav not complete any at this point! I am currently stitching a couple of Barbara Ana’s and Plum Street pieces! So many amazing designers out there! You have definitely enabled me to buy some more charts and start a few more projects! Love your channel and can’t wait to watch more of your amazing work! Thanks so much for sharing!
Thanks for sharing. Your stitching is lovely! After seeing your beautiful WIPs I decided to buy Shimmering Mermaid. Owl Forest Embroidery Atlantis is now also on my wish list.
Thank you Diana so much for your kind words! Shimmering mermaid is a pretty one and not one of the super big once, for owl forest designs they are selling PDF only on Etsy 😊
Just at tip for your scissors before I forget :D I bought a small bag of this rubber knitting needle ends that you put on while you keep your knitting project in a bag so it won't poke anybody, and I add one of those to the end of my embroidery scissors.
You have some amazing pieces- I really love your stitching taste. I also love Jane Austen as well and have that Summer Ball pattern but haven’t started it yet- I want to get at least one of my other full coverages finished first (I have many). I think you said in your last video that your birthday was 26th May so if that’s correct that’s something else we share! Congratulations on your Flosstube beginning and I hope you continue to share your lovely work with us xx
I just found your videos. I loved them. I’m a big Nora Corbett fan and have many of her charts. I have a lot of her Mothers charts also. You enabled me with Winter Love. I’m going to have to get it. I don’t have that one. You stitch a lot of what I like to stitch so I look forward to seeing more of your videos.
Thank you! She is stitched on printed fabric fromFabric Flair collection. I seen fat quarter shop sell them also can get directly form the fabric flair website. The fabric name is "We the people"
Love seeing it all! I’ve never stitched a Mirabilia or Nora Corbet but I have my eye on one that I’m thinking I better buy. I’d not be happy if it went out of print. Hope you continue your videos and I’ll tune in! Lynn in Indiana

Hello again! Is your Queen of Freedom fabric linen or evenweave? Thank you!
Hi Ruth! I stitched the Queen on Picture this Plus 32ct Evenwave 😊
Do you stitch on a hoop, stretch bars or in hand?
I do mostly hoops, big once on q snap and sometimes in hand, haven't used bars yet, but might try one day 😊
Your first piece, Lady Liberty? is beautiful and I was wondering where you got the printed fabric for the background? I simply love your videos..
Thank you! She is stitched on printed fabric fromFabric Flair collection. I seen fat quarter shop sell them also can get directly form the fabric flair website. The fabric name is "We the people"
Lovely work Fae, you sure have a lot of WIP's. What kind of frame do you use?
Thank you Kathy! I use hoops and q-snaps and prop up on the side of the couch. I haven't tried frames yet, but soon I might 😊
No, I don't use frames either, q-snaps and hoops work great for me too.🤗@@stitchingfae
