When i started the repair business, we offered both electronics repair and web development services. We got so busy with repairs, I gave less attention to web development and just stopped at one point to focus on growing the repair business. I was working on a unique website builder called pageox.com. I worked on it for 2 years but never got to 100% finish it after the repair business took off. Maybe one day i will.
His work art is just perfect n he has electronics just in his neurons connectivity in the brain cells. He always does Great Job n his informations are priceless
Your skills are so excellent even i also fix mobile phones and i am so amazed to see how u put the ic on ur own made track with the help of jumper wire and pasted with smd gun..you know we just put tape on the wire to hold it on one place but saw this uv mask method for the very first time..will try this for sure
I have the exact same problem as you on iphone 8 plus but mosfet is not missing and also pad under this mosfet is not missing (i've tried to remove this mosfet and check pad and put back) issue remains. Battery shows service and phone is not charging but port is ok and battery also. Do you have any idea ?
I like watching the repairs but every time you hold up the amp meter you can not see anything just the backlight. Maybe have a second cam and do picture in picture for certain bits? Keep up the good work
One question: If no back-up has been done (impossible) for days, will the data be stored after this procedure or will the pictures and videos be deleted when started again? Thank you very much for letting me know.
I have an iPhone 8 plus, which behaved perfectly with the old battery except the Battery Health was 81%. I have replaced the battery with 3 different new ones of completely different makes (one is absolutely IDENTICALLY Apple-branded as the old one, the other two are clones) and they all show 0% charge but last for 4 days or more if the phone is left idle. But if I put the old battery back, it goes back to working perfectly (except for the 81% BH). So maybe there is a problem with the connector on the new batteries? Or a software or firmware issue and not the main phone hardware? EDIT: I opened up the phone again and looked at it with a 100x microscope (which was too much magnification, hard to tell where you are on the board!) and it was a bit different to your video where your two MOSFETs are, mine just has two bright silver stripes and a few resistors. But it all looked intact so I gave it a blast with an air-jet and put it together with the newest Apple-branded battery, and now it works!
I don't know if you might ever see this comment but i hope so. I have an iphone 8p and it's not charging just as yours, and the mosfet is in place, how can you assist me to work on it please
:) I didnt expect that you are an ex web dev... I am currently a web dev from more than 12 years and I am a bit boored. I really want to become you (as knowedge in electronics), but I don't know from where to start. Can you share - how you started/learned electornics to become so good ?
well damn good video, very informative, just wanted to ask you which microscope and camera are you using, like how many MP camera is that coz clarity is really good, please do share, tks
At 3:46 we're going to use "animaled" wire. :D (yes of course it enameled wire). Newer versions of the iPhone 8 like the SE2 and SE3 have an epoxy coating on most components around the connectors, less chance of knocking them off but also makes it more difficult to repair. :(
My iPhone 8's PD fast charging capability is no longer functioning. Currently, I am only able to charge it with 970mA at 5W, and I am experiencing some issues. Sometimes it doesn't charge, but when I replug the charger, it starts charging again.
Great Video Sir..! New Subs here. I have an iPhone 8 with same Issue, where can I connect the jumper from the Battery terminal., thanks a Lot and God Bless..!
Hello, need a reply asap. This happened to my iPhone X after getting my screen replaced, now the place I got it replaced is wanting to charge me to put it right. Is this the fault of theirs for repairing it incorrectly?

@@NorthridgeFix Thanks for your quick reply👍, my son had the exact same fault on his old iPhone SE after tech shop fitted new screen. I wonder if it was down to the same cause 🤔.
It’s similar, it’s not a mosfet that’s pulled off on the SE, just a filter above the battery connector, much easier to fix, I love these repairs though, it’s quick and easy and efficient, can’t remember if I’ve done one of these videos too... hmm think I’ll check
Would u explain why did u quit web development?

Haha, that phone is like a house where the lights are on but nobody is home lol..
Ok, same problem, but why the jumper cable? Since there is continuity at least in my case.
Should i jump wire or direct solder the mosfet?
Will a wireless charger be. Good work around

So i habe the same problem. Only that the Component next to the mosfet is loose.
والله انك زعيييييييييييم 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
oh iphone ..god job
My iPhone 8 Plus signal problem can u solve it
Did the replacement screen cause this issue?
Component possibly ripped off the board while disconnecting the screen cable. Screen connector and Mosfet are very close to each other.
