I also learn Odissi and I must say, Nritta and Natya merged so perfectly cannot be called Nrittya! I love the way the expressions explained what was Nritta and what was Natya! Wonderful!

You have inspired me a lot while I had been just a child of 5 years.....during your participation in the rehearsals for GURUJI 's Annual Function .....I strongly believe that you are not only a devoted Gynecologist you are also a highly talented dancer....I remember how you, although being damn tired after carrying out some deliveries , still arrived at Rabindra Sadan and performed gracefully and brilliantly.....hats off to you...as I think are a quintessential woman....who should be an example to all girls who study and dream to achieve something Big in life... And your performance and expressions were par excellence!!! Beautiful!!! Also it's wonderful to see you not giving it all up despite your busy busy schedule!!!! Want to see more of it!!!! 💞💞💞 PS the setting is lovely too!!! Just camera work could be tad better? PPS: I remember learning this piece... And absolutely loved it... Khoob empowered legechilo!!!!
Thank you! This is a very Bharatnatyam piece with obvious Carnatic influence. Decided to give it an Odissi twist this time 😊 This is our community park and as beautiful as it is, shooting here is distracting with joggers, kids and dogs video bombing every few seconds!!!
No offense but this is not Odisshi.. Only the costume doesn't represent the elegant dance form. The chouka and torso movements are missing. It seem someone performing bharatnatayam in Odishi costume. Little disgraceful for me.
