About David Wilkerson
David Wilkerson was the Founding Pastor of Times Square Church in New York City. He was called to New York in 1958 to minister to gang members and drug addicts, as told in the best-selling book, The Cross and the Switchblade.
In 1987, David Wilkerson returned to "the crossroads of the world" to establish Times Square Church. As a pastor of the church, he faithfully led this congregation, delivering powerful biblical messages that encourage righteous living and complete reliance on God.
David Wilkerson had a strong burden to encourage and strengthen pastors throughout the world. From 1999 to 2008, he traveled around the globe holding conferences for Christian ministers.

My son is a Christian every year he grows a garden and God blesses it because he gives people food out of his garden this year with the pandemic he put a table on his driveway with a big sign FREE FOOD hungry children got to eat because GOD blessed my sons garden how much more will GOD take care of his garden his Son has sowed Thank God Jesus Loves me this I know for the bible tells me so Jesus I Love you Thank you for living water and food in your word Amen

I met this man of God back in 1976, I was one of the wayward kids he spoke too. He influenced me greatly and I found Christ through him.

Praise God, I also came to know David Wilkerson back in 1976 also. I read the book "The Vision" by David Wilkerson 4 times over so as to never forget it! Life has been an amazing Journey! Yes Jesus will make His Power known to you!
He prayed for me at a church service, in the late 70s or 80's. He was a highly honorable man. I worked for Teen Challenge Ministries which he started. It was a great ministry in helping woman overcome drug addiction!
He was a man who lived his life as he preached it, no hypocrisy! God bless his family in Jesus' name!

I long for my home with the Lord. Our generation is living the last hours of the last days. I pray to be forgiven of my sins and to be found worthy, if only to touch the hem of His robe and to be with Him.
I am viewing this on November 8, 2020. He mentioned Y2K, so this was recorded probably in 1999. It appears that God showed him the Chaos of cities burning and being looted in 2020 and the financial collapse in 2008. This has moved me to want to prepare my heart for the coming of the Lord Jesus, which is the best preparation anyone can make.

I’m so overwhelmed by everything that’s going on in this world especially in America, and coronavirus! Sometimes when I get ready to pray my heart feels so heavy that the words I need to say in prayer don’t come out.. but tears fall from my face and I weep. I believe God hears what I want to say through my tears.
So I will forever lay all my burdens at his feet!

I’ve always liked Romans 8:26 “Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”
Dear Lisa, I feel your pain. My heart has been so heavy for several months now. I feel something horrible is coming, tribulations, we won’t be carried out before tribulations, we don’t leave until the last trump, the trump is a loud voice. Listen to Jim brown truth and Grace ministries on utube, you may get some peace of mind, I do if only for the time I study with him, you will learn so much. Please try him, he comes off harsh, but give him at least 3 or 4 teachings, you might come to love him as your teacher, he loves the children of God, he is a man ordained by God. God bless you and God be with us all and give us strength, in Jesus name, Amen.

I just love this Pastor. His burden from God was so very heavy. To have a message like this, from God, for most of your life is a honorable task. I don’t think that he realized that more people would seek His messages out after He passed, than in His life. God needed to get the word out!! Pastors these days DO NOT PREACH this. What he saw 20 years ago is getting ready to come to past and the majority of the Body of Christ is NOT READY!! I bless this mans obedience and I am grateful for these messages.

Truth!!
Sometimes as I grow older, it is tempting to "rest on my laurels" and rely on what I did in the past to carry me through to the present and future. It is tempting to get lazy and almost "leave my first love." I guess I need prayer for this!!! Jesus Christ has been faithful to me!!! I have been saved for 53 years. I am 71 and I need the strength of the Lord to continue running my race!!!

This message is so much more relevant today than it was, when he preached this message.
2020 has been such a blessing to me. I'm an intercessor and when I was working, I would wake up early to pray for a couple of hours before preparing for the day; this would sometimes be stressful as there was so much I wanted to cover in prayer. Now with all the lockdowns and quarantines, I've been praying 4-6 hours per day, plus time in His word, and it looks like He's having me retire early now so that this can continue. He's shown me through past difficulties that He is able to "wring every possible bit of good" from the hardships we're enduring. May you see His blessings for YOU during this time of upheavals and rejoice in the faithfulness of our glorious, wise, and loving Creator, Savior, and Lord.

Keep looking to God by prayer. I read that David Wilkerson died in 2011. If this is correct then how prophetic is this message. When fear strikes speak the word of God over it. God fed thousands with five loaves and two fish's. He will take care of His people now and in the future. I know because he has taken care of me for 68 years.
God kept and fed the Hebrews 40 years in the wilderness. This message was given 21 years ago, before 9/11. On 9/11 as you know the stock market crashed. Our Lord has been giving us warning signs as the times of great trouble and persecution comes upon us. As Pastor Wilkerson told us our only hope is in the Lord, trust in Him alone.

I cherish these old messages from David Wilkerson. His messages are timeless. I am listening again on Feb. 21, 2021. The Lord's return is so very near. I am doing what I can to share the gospel and be a beacon light in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation. To think of family members not being ready agonizes my heart. yes , I love these men of God with a passion for the Lord and true servants, Derek Prince was not ashamed to weep, he had great compassion for the orphan and the widow. These men have been my heroes and mentors . I am 86 and shunned because I am "radical" that is from the "church" but I have Jesus and will not bow to the gods of this world, money, entertainment. running with the religeous crowd. I go out with my Pastor and his wife, from South Korea, missionaries. we go out on the city streets, sworn at f word etc, same as Jesus encountered, but will never back off

Holy Spirit-filled teaching is timeless. There's a pastor whom I listen to who has a bunch of sermons online. I listened one of the ones from 2012 and it was still applicable 12 years later. Take it as you will but still, apply these lessons well.

Which means you are having an intimate meating with God when you read His word. Finally read the word with forgiveness in your heart and apply yourself to the scripture you read. When we read we must not read it like a book. But with an open heart, sitting with God, for Him to bring revelation to us through His word. When you do this it is in your heart..... not your mind. Keep reading on a daily basis and read the Bible over and over again. There’s times I read something and think..... I never remember reading this, as well. But that’s ok. When we read His word with Him and not as we read every other book....... when we need His word He will bring it to our remembrance. I hope this helps and gives you some encouragement.

This is such an empowering word for this time 2020. Stand boldly for Jesus! Lord, guide us, help us! We can do ALL things through Christ. Come, Lord Jesus!
The Spirit did lead me to store food. Not out of fear, but faith. I believe God has led people to store food, just like He told Joseph. We are to be prepared, and we are to be a light in the dark. Maybe this Pastor didn’t receive that word, because it wasn’t for him. It is Biblical that we are to be prepared, friends. A wise man sees danger coming, and prepares. Love you all!

I am very new to David Wilkerson and feel very blessed to have found his ministry. Could someone please tell me something about his background. I believe he has passed on?
@@jenniferrambo1212 hi. David Wilkerson came to NYC from basically the mountains of PA. He saw on the news a gang of young boy's heading for jail and The Holy Spirit moved him to drive with barely enough $ to buy gasoline but went to NY to go to the courthouse where the boys would be going before a judge; theres a famous picture of him floating around holding a bible in front of the courthouse that's basically how his ministry started in NY. Yes he was pastoring a small church in PA. Nicky Cruz was one of the boys in this particular gang. The movie & ofcourse the paperback book came from ' the sword and switchblade ' - he & his brother Don began ' Teen Challenge ' together and ofcourse is one of the largest ministries in the world that help drug addiction & other huge sins. Don Wilkerson is in Brooklyn NY and still remains in ministry. You can Google the both of them.
I've recently been studying under John Charles Ryle. 1st Anglican bishop of Liverpool. He lived from 1816-1900. You may want to Google his sermon ' Counterfeit Christianity ' J.C.Ryle - it will bless you!
He wasn't particularly liked by mainstream churches in that day just like David Wilkerson wasn't exactly either -

Wow! I have been listening to Brother Wilkerson since I was saved in 1983. So encouraging to hear one of his powerful reminders again. I believe the Lord showed me I would face these times then and everyday it drawers nearer. Through the years I have backslidden but God has been faithful and kept me from being deceived. This video was a blessing to me. Hearing about all the things that are coming on the world really started to shake me up, especially since I can't afford to stockpile any supplies. Pastor Wilkerson restored my peace of mind saying the only thing we need to do to prepare for hard times is to prepare our hearts by reading the word and staying in prayer and being covered by the blood of the Lord. I try to live a life pleading to God, I will continue to do so, I will concentrate on trying to bring people to God and continue to work on my faith and trust issues concerning the Lord. Even though Pastor Wilkerson is no longer with us it is amazing how his sermons are still changing lives and touching spirits. I am grateful he spoke to me through this video reminding me just how great our God really is.

I started drinking when I was 16. I would drink at parties, but I also started drinking alone because I was unhappy, and I was in a lot of emotional pain all the time. My mom was very aggressive when I was younger, and my brother hated her and so did I. He started hanging out with shady people, he started failing all his classes, he was never home, and my parents fought all the time. I also ran away several times. I was always trying to figure out a reason as to why I was here or what the purpose of life was. So, I started looking at different philosophies, religions, and beliefs. When I was 18 after I was hungover, I got on my knees and I prayed for the first time. I asked if God was real that he would show me he was real because I couldn’t take it anymore. I was crying when I prayed for this. At that moment I felt a presence come over me like a wind. It was barely noticeable, but it was unlike anything in my life I had experienced up until that point. I was surprised when I felt it and I remember saying “what was that?” after that experience I pretty much forgot what happened and kept partying, until my senior year when I got arrested. After my arrest, my parents lost all their trust in me and I was expelled from high school. I was told never to come back. At that time, I felt afraid and hopeless. That’s when I started looking for God, and I prayed that he would reveal himself in my life and that he would give me signs. My prayers began getting answered so consistently that I couldn’t deny that God was doing something. It was mysterious and compelling. I ended up in Church and started reading the bible hours a day. I stopped hanging out with all my other friends because they were continually getting arrested. I was able to forgive my family and myself and to ask to be forgiven. I noticed how at Church people were judgmental and how they formed cliques but were afraid to be around anyone else different from them. It increased my faith because I realized Jesus was not like that and ever since I was young, I saw people as people regardless of who they were. After a while, it’s like I could see God's presence was in my life and then it felt like he wasn’t, and then he was, and then he wasn’t. One day I woke up and felt more depressed than I ever have in my entire life. I felt like I was dying on the inside. That night I prayed, and I said, God, I don’t see my life five years from now I'm going to die Jesus save me Lord, please save me. I was weeping when I said it and when I asked him to save me, I felt a presence inside of me like a heartbeat, and I felt it once like a pulse, and I said Lord please save me and I felt it again even stronger. It was like radiance. When I woke up the next morning, I had transformed everything felt brand new like I was a kid again. All my fears and all my racing thoughts everything was gone. I looked at my hands, and I said this can’t be real it’s impossible. When I looked at myself in the mirror, I saw a different person. I started praying, and the holy spirit became entirely real to me it was washing over me and inside of me. It was total love and peace, and I heard a voice but not an audible one, it was an inner voice. It said I am with you; I love you, I will never leave you, it’s done it’s finished. That was May 3rd, 2009, and ever since then I’ve followed God, I have seen many things change and many things I know wouldn’t have changed without faith and belief. I know what it’s like to be lost to feel you have no hope. Don’t ever think you’re stuck, or life can’t change because it can. My mom is a Christian now, Its night and day. Some of the things that went away during that period were severe anxiety and my addiction to alcohol. I’ve seen and experienced so many things that are miraculous and seen how God has worked in my life. When we ask God to forgive us for what we’ve done and turn away from our sins and wrongdoings and we believe in Christ's sacrifice everything changes. His word says if we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that he died and rose again we will have eternal life but not just life after death but abundant life in the present. Our sins are erased not only past, present, and future but our burdens and fears are lifted also. Our thoughts, our minds, our hearts, our souls are transformed and united with God and we know his spirit lives in us. If you seek, pray, and knock you will know JESUS IS KING!!! HE LIVES!

I truly believe many of the prophets about president Trump, not that he is a godly man and going to save this nation! That will never happen, but what he is, is a man who is holding back the evil agenda that is approaching us. He is not doing it from a godly prospective I don’t think he even knows it. He is doing it out of love for this nation. I believe the only reason God put him in that position was for our sakes, because the church isn’t ready for what is coming. During this hard several years our eyes are being opened some not yet, but they will awaken. The church needed a grace period to repent and seek Gods face that has only came through the Shaken, but this church we are apart of is not ready for the persecution that is coming, this is our time to take warning and make ourselves ready as the scripture tells us to do. It’s nothing to do with politics for governments can’t save us, but governments and false religious powers being lead by satan himself will be what brings our persecution to us.
