Chrysler Jeep Dodge and Ram have always catered to middle class consumers who wanted affordable transportation. They have effectively told that customer base to go to hell.

Don't forget to add sky high insurance to the monthly payment. They don't even offer you the courtesy of Vaseline. Buying a new vehicle is not a smart idea right now.
It's beyond the scope of reality Americans are being completely zapped out of existence kinda seem's like a inside job 😳
The manufacturers tried to lead us to $100K pickups. They didn't quite make it. Now everything is changing again.
A RAM pickup isn't a luxury vehicle, no matter how you dress up the "pretty little unit". The quality isn't there, its truly OVER-PRICED JUNK! Carlos Tavares, C.E.O. of Stellantis is making almost 40 million a year, most over-paid, out of touch individual alive! Thank you Mark, another awesome video! Take my friend, cheers!

@@RAM-KINGOFTRUCKS keep thinking that old boy, do your research! Only thing a RAM truck is KING OF PRICE!
Huh- we are on our 6th Ram and we love it? Very happy with each one and more than satisfied with the quality. But I guess that’s just me 🤷🏻♂️
@@ricflair8863 may I ask what year, and engine your RAM has in it? My brother was a Salesman at a CDJR Dealership, recently left with the downward decline of Stellantis, as a company.

I work as a handyman in Lethbridge and I needed a a truck for work or an SUV and went in to dodge to see if I could get into a basic truck. Something that wasn't' going to run me into the ground. They then wanted to take my current payments which were 270 Bi-Weekly at 5% and put me almost at 500 biweekly 7%. I said forget this. I'll just make do with what I have now. These car companies are out of their mind.
@@JJ-mh3hbhow you rather pay for it? Cash? Get off the pipe bub
I've bought 3 RAM's over the years, I was treated so badly after the last one, I'll never buy another one.
I bought a Dodge in 1995. My first car, a new car from the dealer and it was such an unreliable mess, I said I'd never ever trust that brand again. 30 years later and it's like god what am I thinking.
I’ve got two 2023 rams and I think they are the last rams I buy. Especially if I can’t get the Hemi!
Nobody should have to pay Mercedes level money for a damn pickup.
Ford and GM have their own issues. And Ford is the king of recalls
You guys are great at describing the “sky is falling” situation. But, what do these current market conditions translate into for what % we can expect to get off of MSRP?
My whole family only buys Ram trucks whether if it's a diesel or gasoline they're probably the best truck out. I don't think they're the most luxurious trucks out but overall never had any major problems whether if it was a diesel or gas truck.
Some businesses are lowering their prices to pre pandemic prices It’s time for the car companies to do the same
I grew up driving dodge vehicles and had great luck with them. Owned several slant six darts, dusters, a 78 pickup. A 1970 318 powered tradesman van was my first "car" in high school. I currently have a 97 dodge ram 4x4 with a quarter million on the clock with original engine and tranny. She's rusty but still hitting on all 8. Sadly the days of RELIABLE and AFFORDABLE vehicles are gone. Mechanics everywhere are saying to buy vehicles made pre-covid.
For $115,000 I can keep my 2012 running for years to come.
I have 2019 limited no issues with this year model purchase before pandemic awesome truck best ride & interior
I think the Rams do have the best interiors fr sure of their competitors
I seriously don't know how they can sell trucks that expensive. Like who is buying them? 400-500 a month max for a car payment.
Totally agree Mark, another big thing thats disruptive with Ev technology is it's highly fluctuating battery technology it really seem's very unstable for good consumer sediment especially when past tests on EV truck's have absolutely horrible towing statistics I still can't imagine how this will change already poor consumer sediment.
Own a 2016 tradesman 4x4 Cummins RAM 2500. Best truck ever had.
Not sure why all the Tubers act like Ram is the only truck maker have issues selling trucks. All automotive manufacturers got greedy. They kept charging more and more. Even Toyota got in on the greed. Now they are all paying the price.
As many chose not buy a Ram truck, going to other brands, it speeds up the problem of sales. At some point, like has happened with other brands, you can't sell enough units or get so far behind you can't catch up, you have forever lost those customers.
Mark, the floor plan curtailments will really hurt weaker dealers on all that aged inventory when their lenders take them.
Some of us might want a review of Zambelli's Pizza we often see in your clips!
Plus the new 2025 Ram Full size pickup trucks 4x4 are having major problems with there new TT Hurricane 6CYI engines blowing up !!! Problems from camshafts, oil pump failure, headgaskets, and the crankshaft snapping in half !!! Not good at all, so Stellantis really is destroying this company now !!! 😫😫😫🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Yeah in 2018 you could get a well equipped Crew Cab with the V8 for 36K
i had a 2004 ram that i loved i bought a 2014 1500 express 4x4 with the 3.6 brand new and i atill have and use it daily. with all my services and repairs i have over 9 grand in it in 10 years. transmission had a leak 3 years ago. raidiator cracked and i had the pentastar knock last year all that cost 5800. had to replace a head light because the seal gave up. and a cracked oil filter housing and a bad injector. its been expensive. never again
I have so much into it and it's not worth anything. I have to keep driving it till it blows up.
I’m in Canada, I have 2011 ram Sport, paid $37k have 280,000 km on it. I enjoyed the truck but I’m not paying $75,000 for a new one. Too much money. I’m looking for used so I hope the deals start and everyone trades in.
Bought my 2011 in Nov 2010, was 30000 all in. Base 1500 4x4. Just tires and brakes and battery. Live in Ontario so it has been Crown sprayed every year. Keeping it. No Bluetooth, no nav screen no usb hookup and no kill switch or gov tracking. You can not buy a base model truck from ANY manufacturer anymore.
As always good video my friend. I have a 2020 Ram Rebel with the 5.7 hemi. I love Ram but if they stay like this I will never buy another...

Hi Mark, on top of your points, Nissan gave up as far as full size trucks for now, and the tundra engines are time bombs waiting to explode.

As a ram driver, last 4 trucks, I’m looking around these days
I agree, there are some decent options, especially now going turbo 6, might be worth going to a V8 in one of the others
You will be able to get your dream new Ram at the bankruptcy sale that is coming soon. Pennies on the dollar. Cheers.
Price of gas high and gas guzzlers are not selling! I'm not sure but I think prices are still too high, even for used vehicles. I'm sticking with my older vehicles.
I have Dodge’s solution! Need to bring back massive hood ornaments!
$ 2000 for registration in Canada ? Here in US "CT" we charge $ 395 from customer for truck , $ 295 for sedan
And remember, that's the average (or mean) household income at ~$100k. Median is around $78k, which makes the prices even worse.
I just bought a Ford Maverick. God a great deal on it. AND it's built Ford Tough in MEXICO. Now that's quality today in third world Bi.dens America.
Good video. Don't forget they are made cheap people finally are done. Ball joints, transmissions and cheap plastic . Do they still rot?
I think your average home income is skewed. Most people don't make that much, unless it is different in Canada. On top of just buying a vehicle and being able to make the monthly stroke, I have noticed my insurance rates have taken a healthy jump, which I also contribute to EVs and having to pay more so others can drive a fire bomb with outrageous repair costs. I have been shopping for a fully loaded (probably Chevy) truck and I can afford to pay cash. The reason I can pay cash is I don't use the bank for every purchase, pay off my credit card every month, and only buy what I can buy outright even if it means holding off till I got enough. Sales tax is another issue. Here it is fairly reasonable at 4%, but that is still 4 grand on a fully loaded rig. I can't break down insurance as I insure a lot of vehicles, but you can assume it isn't cheap. Now we also have to consider how much time will it be in the shop and some of these vehicles have a lot of recalls. The only reason I am looking is I have 233k on my 2011 Chevy 2500HD. I still like the truck, I'm just waiting for a deal to upgrade because I can, I just don't want to throw money away on something that is over priced. Thanks for the vids, they are very helpful.
Strange, I haven't found anything as to Ram going out of business. Yes, there is something going on with BYD and Stellates, but exactly what is still unknown. Ram has discontinued their Ram Limited truck line, but there is no mention of Ram closing it's door.
They are pure junk also! All new vehicles are junk. I was an industry insider for my whole career, and there is not a quality vehicle being produced by any manufacturer currently. Buy used and prior to 2019. Most are still junk, but post 2019, there is nothing quality!
You would think that the car yard would have replaced the sign, having “ Dodge truck devision “ is only 15 years out of date.🤣🤣
What about the many, many defects with HEMI engines? Millions of potential buyers can't keep up with all the numerous defects, problems, and serious issues involving ALL of the pickup trucks. Imagine the risk of spending tons of money to later find out the truck/car you brought home will be problematic. When customers have to do extensive research and homework before buying "anything new"...don't buy anything until all the bleeding has stopped.
Great videos. Do you ever go to Zambelli’s after for some Lasagna and Garlic bread? Lol
I bought my Ram in 2020 for 40,000 even the bottom end now is 60,000 that’s mental ill pay this one and now more new vehicles anymore waste of money
It’s insanity how prices rose as they did. There may be a bit of a correction as the economy is certainly far from booming
With me its price price price for everything on the market today. My local lot has a 23 tradesman with a hemi. New but with the 25s already hitting lots to me that means that there should be huge discounts. Online it is priced 5k below sticker. To me thats just not much of a discount. A tradesman in my opinion, should only be priced around 40k max being a lower trim level. This one is advertised as a big sale at 45k

99-06 GM trucks lasting so long and the LS swap situation helps him sell out a truck. You got a lot of people that buy them because the old one it's their first truck... Or older guys that have them and think oh it's still just a 5.3. I had one of those. No buddy completely different.... Not half the truck the GMT800 was
My friend used to own dealerships and you absolutely right all trucks are ridiculous price. Even he said, wait til next year vehicle prices will dropped even more. I seen a new 2022 RAM truck basic jane hasn't sold yet it was 81K they brought down to 68K I told them if they dropped to 41K I would pay $$$ no financing straight up cash they said NO and it's still there. Lying friend said WAIT NEXT YEAR INVENTORY COST MONEY AND WILLING DROPPED TO NEAR I WANT AND RIGHT OFF THE LOST.
Ram is the jewel in the crown of Stellantis. A tarnished crown…they can’t afford to screw it up any further.
Jeep, Dodge and Chrysler should all go away!
Chrysler used to be the crown jewel but they dropped the town & country and didn't update the 300 in any meaningful way for 12 stinking years. Now you want to pretend that Ram is the jewel? I thought Alfa was the jewel.... oh that's right they screwed Alfa up and sales are tanking there too!
Consumer reports just came out saying RAM is top of list reliability’. I would never own a Chrysler anything
Auto makers make more money on their financing the car loans than the sale of the vehicle. The higher the loan amount and the longer it takes to pay off mean more interest. Thats why they are making $90,000 vehicles
America needs a new Auto corporation or 2 that actually care about their customers.
Ford, GM and Chrysler long forgot about catering to their customers by making affordable and Reliable vehicles. Reliable is a vehicle that hits 300k to 500K miles with minimal work if maintained properly.
Most vehicles today with proper Maintenace are lucky to get to 200K trouble free miles. They would have almost certainly had a few mechanical breakdowns that weren't normal wear and tear.
That should be unacceptable for the asking price of these vehicles. 300k trouble free miles should be the minimum for a vehicle costing $25K+ and should be a guarantee on a car costing over $50k.
I think you could say the same with all cars .Id rather work on a Chrysler product than any other
Laughable. They are asking for what I bought my house for. I need a truck a few times a year so when I need one I rent one. The payments are more than my mortgage payment. Let them go out of business.
Won’t honor the warranty is a big problem. No one smart will buy. Mechanics agree with you. Cummins is better built. Scotty Kilmer and Getty adventures.
I’ve always liked dodge. My first long term car 1972 charger , 400 mag. Modified some. Drove 110000 never a problem.

It really hurts and honestly puts people into the negative equity territory way to easily
There's just no reason to ship a truck with a plain steel bed that's painted body color inside. Nobody leaves it that way if they use it. Just ship it ready to use like Toyota.
I have a 2004 Dodge Diesel. A new one with the options I want is $90,000.oo. They can shove it. I ain’t that stupid!
I've moved on. Was going to buy a Ram, but figured a way to do without it. I'm using a small utility trailer. They can stuff their golden trucks. I WILL NOT BUY! I WILL NOT BUY! I WILL NOT BUY!
RHO looks awesome.
I still don't understand even if they dropped the price $10,000 from $80,000 to $70,000 how can people afford that even if they can they have to see what's coming in the future you don't have to be an economist to see things are going to crash soon I can afford a new vehicle not $100,000 truck but a 50 or 60,000 dollar car but there's no way I'm going to spend that money I'm going to hold on to it for when the economy crashes
What's wrong with buying a used vehicle, 6-8 years old vehicle will still last a long time
Every time I watch you vids, I develop this strange desire to eat prime rib, steaks and pizza.
Thanks for explaining the US v Canadian dollars. Dodge is considered a negative brand, they’ve been sold so many times, and they want their trucks to be Rams and not Dodge. Dodge is like WalMart of vehicles, just not what people want.
Sad. The Dodge brothers were better than Ford until both the brothers died. After Dodge was bought by Chrysler they started a long downhill trail. American car manufacturers have just fallen apart like the German car companies. Money pits living off past glory until they can’t.
Can anyone EXPLAIN why a company, would so willingly and forcefully slit its own throat? Not just over a month or a quarter, but a year plus? They seem suicidally COMMITTED to getting 80-100k out of vehicles that were NEVER worth that much and likely never will be again.😮
where did you get that # its moore like 45 to 60 grand a year for lunch box joe in the USA
You're completely delusional if you think RAM is going out of buisness.
i agree . Ram is consumer reports top choice and they are not junk. look at Toyota they have engine recalls
I bought my last pickup. I feel okay about my deal “just okay”. I picked up a 23 RAM 3500 DRW and it was reduced $12k. I paid $60k and it was still tough to swallow. Fortunately I had just sold a nostalgic 1994 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins that was pretty custom so I had a significant down payment. But I will not buy anymore new vehicles. This turd better last me a bit, and if it don’t I’ll go get a 2000 Chevy 3500 454 4x4. 😂
Im just not gonna buy a new vehicle ever again and the ones i have i bought used. Im 57 and just cant play that game.
Hello;!! I wanted one, any one Ram, Ford Chevy, GMC ;! But America nocked me down in to a Tacoma;! Thanks a lot America;!
If they cannot sell the Ram trucks they can donate to a charity so that they raffled the trucks off to business or to people who need them. They get a huge tax deduction.
75 K in USD is equal to about 105 K in CAD.
There problem is there engine design with the raise of cam creating the lifters to tick. I had a 2019 and started doing this at 75k miles it drives fans and pontential customers away. The word spreads then you have high prices when ram was the most affordable from the 3 no one is interested.

RAM isn't and shouldn't be a LUXURY truck. All of the big 3 have their issues, but quality control is RAM'S. With the shenanigans surrounding Stellantis, why would anyone sink $90K+ into a RAM?
I bought one before this nonsense started, I like the truck, but if I were to buy one today, I'd buy a GMC or Ford.. it's not like even RAM offers a stickshift anymore, and the fuel pump issues should be solved by now.
@markholubetz I really liked my old GMC C2500, though I wish it had better frame corrosion protection. Had the old 5.7L gas vortec engine, no AMF or whatever the GM cylinder deactivation is called. Stupid simple and reliable.
22$ to 30$ k trucks when times are good but after 6 years of crap now worth 12 to 18 thousand tops lot rot and dings and dents with crap computer plastic and leds should cost 6 thousand
Stelllantis has totally ruined the product line. What was once a decent competitively priced product line. Now the quality is in the toilet and prices are outrageous and unaffordable. The consumers want good reliable ICE powered vehicles and not these over priced electric hair dryers
the Caravan was the best Dodge ever, they discontinued it... not smart
GM is the only one even remotely selling professional quality trucks. The rest are building shiny trinkets.
Those are some real burdensome monthly payments!... no thanks
A failing economy doesn’t discriminate.😮
This inline six stuff is sad bros, I was raised on the SRT 10.
And the dealerships are not really making favorable deals so so so many 2023,24 model years that are 50 grand and over. Why they bother with 25 models. It doesn’t surprise me they are going out of business, I’ve sent at least 5 offers on base tradesman’s V6 white basic crew cab all over 40 grand my offer is 25 grand limit, but nope they won’t budge the pricing lower even with trade and down payment offer they say the prices are the best in the business bunch of BS and they are not selling, they say they are selling so much on inventory, they say they are slower in updating vehicles leaving, I drive by they are full, why they have to lie, I understand they have to be paid and get commission but people are not buying them and making deals are not important so if RAM is out of business then there are other truck brands out so the search continues so sad shouldn’t be this hard to make a offer on so many left overs.
So when are the prices going down???? They should be about $40,000 for the top of the line model. Not $68,000 for a stripped down plastic piece of junk.
@mpkile6455 all 3 American branded trucks are up there in price. You can check online and see a loaded GM, RAM or Ford going cost big 💰
