- A 52-year-old woman working at a Bronx construction site was fatally shot Wednesday afternoon, and her boyfriend then ran down the suspect with his car.
It happened around 12:30 p.m. on City Island Avenue and City Island Road, where police say a 67-year-old man rode up on a bicycle and opened fire.

I’m honestly shocked the construction crew didn’t even get a day to mourn after losing one of their own in front of them like that.
I'm saddened but not shocked or surprised. Respect for human life is a rarity.

My guy wanted to give chase, but I told him you don't know if people have a gun with them... While it was scary enough that the bottle hit our car, I told him we don't need to get shot.
