      I installed the Venom carbon fiber muffler (no performance increase), I removed the stock airbox and replaced it with a pod filter, running a little nipple off the boot for crankcase vent, and then got an ECU reflash from GStreet tuning. For a chinese 250cc, it rips. I'm a huge guy (6'3", 250 lbs) and it'll get up to a true 75 and maintain it.

      @@SpACeCruizeR2o3 don't go auto. It's anemic down low, and I don't think anyone makes a flash for it. If you know what you're doing with carbs, throw a nibbi on and jet it for your elevation, it may be the fastest. But fuel injection is super nice. I think the 6 speed efi Venom x22r MAX is the way to go.

    how big a difference is the exhaust (if you've added it).

      and do you still enjoy the bike? I see you said ur busy with work but would you still recommend it ?

      I love the bike. Super fun for zipping around town or short distance commuting. I ride it a lot just haven't made videos. The new exhaust is definitely louder, but zero difference in performance.

    Any advice on if I wanna drive it from state to state?

      @@cathyauto depending on your height and weight, it can hold 70-75 mph fairly confidently, and it's very comfortable for a 250cc sport bike. However, it is a bit top heavy, so it blows around in the wind. The longest single ride I have taken on it is 30 miles and it was fine, but I probably wouldn't want to go much further. I am 6'3" and about 240 lbs.

      Thanks for ur input 🙏🏼 💕 I’m 5’ 8” and 160lbs and I get blown around in the wind going 60 but I’m also a new rider so that may be it too.

      Sorry, I've been busy with my job and haven't been able to upload another video, but I've put 500 miles on it and a couple of small mods. It's running amazing still and gets the looks!

    Hey my bike only started once and never started again

    • @jonnybroomhead
      @jonnybroomhead  6 місяців тому

      Oh no! I would guess something electrical like fuses, or a ground came loose, or something. Haven't ever heard of any issues like that on these bikes. I now have close to 500 miles on mine (I don't ride a super lot) and still not an issue to speak of.

      @@jonnybroomhead so I reached out to venom they said it could be the petcock not sending fuel but I’m having a hard time locating it

    • @jonnybroomhead
      @jonnybroomhead  6 місяців тому +1

      @@SPADESCTV It's fuel injected, it doesn't have a petcock.....It has a fuel pump, and that may be bad.
