Anyone else feel like Enchanted is a better 100 year anniversary concept than what we got (Wish)? It both parodies and honors all classic Disney tropes while simultaneously embracing the “modern” with live action…I just feel like it’s a better celebration of Disney’s legacy overall
Disenchanted was a good family movie, with some romance thrown in but not as the main focus, exactly like how more beloved Disney movies were for me. A worthy anniversary release that I wouldn't have complained about if it was longer.
No. I don’t feel like that at all. I think Wish did the 100th Anniversary justice in every way. I really, truly do. Also, it’s one of my favorite Disney movies. I watch it all the time and listen to the cast recording all the time. I’m also trying to learn the title song.
I don't think wish was a bad movie I just don't think it was 100th anniversary movie it just there's something missing from it I don't know if it's the soul or what. I agree with you enchanted comes more off like what 100 anniversary movie would be like but it didn't come out then it came out way earlier and there you have it... As for disenchanted it was okay it's just also was missing some soul. Whoever made disenchanted was obviously in a hurry because it wasn't as thought out and as I don't know how else to put it it didn't have as much soul as the original.
I think there should be a proper sequel to enchanted and I don't think it's disenchanted, because it makes Nancy and Edward look like nothing really has happened for them itself and that's kind of wrong, also enchanted left some holes in it too and that is when Robert kisses Giselle and breaks the curse it isn't Edward who breaks it it's Robert therefore why did the evil queen Narissa decide to really go after Giselle it makes no sense. The only way it makes sense is if it turns out that Giselle was her daughter and therefore if Edward doesn't marry and Gisele does then Giselle would be the heir to the throne and if she married somebody worthy well that's something that her mother wouldn't have wanted.

I absolutely loved this movie when it came out. The only single detraction was HOW COULD THEY HAVE IDINA MENZEL IN A MOVIE MUSICAL AND NOT GIVE HER A SINGLE SONG? I'm glad we now at least have this.

i remember watching the kevin lima's director's commentary on enchanted a couple months ago and heard him mention this song, so cool to finally see it! personally i do like ever ever after more since i think it ties up everyone's arcs perfectly, unlike here where it's focused on nancy and edward

The original sequel disenchanted doesn't work but they should make another movie but this time basing it on and Andelasia itself because I never did understand why nerissa the evil queen had to challenge and grab Robert to get Giselle I mean I never understood the whole point it's obvious Giselle has found somebody else will not be coming back to Andalusia so what's the point and the answer to it might be more interesting, especially if the sequel to the previous sequel because that one was absolutely I mean the music was wonderful but the rest of the storyline left a lot to be desired and a lot of people saw it that way I personally think it would have been better to have the sequel around Nancy and the prince.

I never understood why they had idina menzel in a musical without having her sing. I may like the flow of the original ending, but this was cool.

I loved Wish, and thought it was a great celebration. Especially the animation style, absolutely beautiful.
