See I didn’t do a week of online school, I come back 2 days before unit test, watch this video and his potential energy video and IM ALL CAUGHT UP, what a G.O.A.T this man is a life saver, why couldn’t u be my teacher?!?!?
Sir, I would be very delighted if you could keep publishing videos like this on Physics and Math. As an engineering student who learns better by videoeos, I have not seen a person explain something quite as good as you. Thank you for the video. I hope you will be back with more.
I really can't tell you how much you helped me. My physics teacher didn't show us this and is pretty bad at teaching but you showed me it in just a few minutes. The video was very calm and not all over the place either which helped a lot. Thanks you very much!
Tysm for this tutorial! I needed this for my online science class because i somehow dont get it on what my science teacher says, but thank you so much making this! It really helps me alot and i get it now :D
Thank you so much for the tutorial. I have my second quiz tomorrow for my physics class and we will be going over kinetic energy. Sadly, my professor doesn't really go over the step by steps for most formulas in class. You are a lifesaver sir, thank you again.
He squared 55 and got 3,025. He then multiplied it by 750 and divided that total by 2. It's been about a month so you've probably already figured this out but just in case you haven't.
dividing by 2 is the same as multiplying the same thing by 1/2 for example 10/2=5 and 10*.5=5. so he just divides by 2 instead of multiplying by 1/2 because it is the same.
So, if we could measure the REAL kinetic energy of a 1 kilo block of metal that sits still on a table, minus rotation of earth, minus revolving around the sun, minus revolving around center of the galaxy, we would know how fast were moving away from the center of the universe?
Thank you, thank you, thank you very much. God bless you and thank you. The module they gave me isn't even helpful to the point it gave me a mental breakdown just because it's not explained well. Again, I express my gratitude.
Hey I'm not sure if you still answer these comments however this was a really good help I go to high School and have a teacher named mr. Martin honestly I wish I had you as a teacher for physics
so using the formula m multiply v square divided by 2: 750 multiply 55 square (you press the square feet symbol on your calculator) which should equal 2'268750 and then divide it by two. Which your final should be 1,134,375 J hope this helps!
Yes she did! I thought .55 squared is .55 X 2 = 1.1 using a regular calculator and not those calculators w/squared functions which I don't have. The teacher should point out in the video beforehand to clarify this!
If we have Mass is rest mass in given question. so here we will put direct in formula for kinetic energy KE=1/2 MV^2 ?????????? Or we need to first calculate Realistic mass valve through [M=M(rest mass)+ r] formula , after that will we calculate Kinetic energy???
do you always have to convert your values into Kg and m/s to find kinetic energy? For example, say I'm given an object with mass 500 grams, is it correct to say that I have to convert 500g= 0.5 kilograms before plugging it in?
Bro imagine your teacher teaching you 😂 she literally gave us a word problem and was implying that we should know this some how because she didn’t even teach us how to do it
I have a question for any one who can answer when you have a 1.1x10to the 3kg and 25m/s kinetic energy what is it how do you solve the problems when it is to the power of??
Sir I like the way you teach but you have to explain the calculation you did and got the answer for any question you solve sir I think that help better understanding
When dealing with kinetic energy, you have to round it with scientific notation, so basically getting it to one decimal place and multiplying it by 10 to the power of _____ to get to a rounded number of the original 1.1x 10 to the power of 6 (1000000) = 1100000 which is the rounded number of 1,134,375 Hope that helps :)
so you mean is how many zero is the power of 10 butwhy is it 1 .1 if the whole number of it is 2,47,234 would it go with 2.4 x 10 to the power of 6? thanks for sharing dude

How did you get the 1,134,375kg?
He divided 750 into 2 so 750 ÷ 2 = 375 and multiplied 55 twice so 55 x 55 = 3,025 and multiplied the 375 and 3,025 so we get 375 x 3,025 = 1,134,375

In mathematical "grammar", you calculate the power first (that is the square of the velocity in this case) then work left to right to solve.

Yes

Yes because jouls are relative to those units of measurements

so we multiply 750 kg and 55m/s?
How you divide the 750kg and 55ms ²

if i don’t have velocity do i use 9.8 m/s? since my problem is about a rollercoaster
